  Been my cat’s vet for nearly 9 years. I’ve been to many other vets in various locations around the country (for work et. al.). Not a single vet could match the kindness and treatment we’ve experienced with Dr. Shane. By nature, medical science is not always 100% and humans aren’t perfect- but I’ve never felt more confident in the skill and knowledge of the staff at Dr. Shane’s. I trust them with my little furball.

  I brought my cat in. The doctor ran tests but missed what I later found should have been obvious and totally preventable. 4 weeks later with an expensive ER visit, I had to put my cat to sleep.
  
  So upsetting considering it was 100% preventable.

  I had a great Veterinary clinic in Dallas so I was very nervous coming here. I'm happy to say the entire staff is so helpful and we've received excellent care. They also carry Just For Dogs pet food which is my Maltipoos favorite. The only downside is they don't have a grooming studio to make it a one stop shop.

  dr. shane's practice wins 'best of the west side' awards and such for good reason. unlike the dispassionate, often phoned-in corporate care of VCA it's nice to bring our pets to a place that feels a little more like the practitioners really care for the animal and want to do what's best.

  I take both of my dogs to Shane and have been extremely happy with the care they recieve. My large dog has always had a lot of anxiety at the vet office however this is the first office she has felt comfortable in. The doctors are knowledgeable and happy to explain things clearly to you. They do not push unnecessary vaccinations or medications on you and your pet which is also something I value highly.

  Great doctors. The price is a little high for me, but I can see MDR residents not minding the cost.
