  Would like to give a great job of finding problems with the vehicles we have taken in the last month or so. Found what the problems were on them and fixed them promptly within the time we had alotted for. Nice bunch of service guys and shop help! Very friendly and helpful to our needs. If need something done would recomend them in a heart beat.

  I called around for my roommate to see where he could get free inspection, they told me they did so I had him call and they also told him it was free so he set up the appointment. 7 hours and 45 minutes later they tell him everything going wrong and that it will be $55. He told the guy what we were told and all he said is he doesn’t know how that would happen. Ya it’s only $55 but that’s $55 more than he planned on spending that day. Also if something more was wrong he would of wanted it fixed but because it took so long for an inspection he wouldn’t have been able to.

  I was going to another mechanic for 8 years. In the last 2 years, I kept telling them about shaking (which they said could be anything so we'll wait until it gets worse)I also had a problem with my car not accelerating up to speed the way it shouldthey told me there was nothing obviously wrong (so we'll wait until it gets really bad)then I went in for a noise on the front end of my carmy previous mechanic told me I had clunky tires. I decided to try another mechanic because "clunky tires" didn't seem right to me and doesn't sound like a professional diagnosis. I decided to try Shadel. I didn't have "clunky tires"I had a missing bolt which was dangerous. They also managed to find all of the other problems I was having. Two of the problems I didn't even mention to themincluding a bad sway bar mount installed by my previous mechanic. I can't begin to tell you how thankful I am to have tried Shadel. I have MS and I was always taking care of my car because I can't afford to get another one. I even brought my car in for annual inspections, fluid checks, and for any problem that came upI doubt my previous mechanic did any of that now that I see how inept they were. So thank you Shadel! These issues could've been resolved over time, but because of my previous mechanic, I have these expenses all at once. I highly recommend Shadel Auto and Truck Clinic and I am so thankful.

  Recently moved to Portage and have been looking for a good reputable repair shop. I've found one with Shadel Auto. Very friendly and knowledgable staff, accurate quotes and timely high quality repairs. I would highly recommend!

  From routine maintainence and repair on my everyday drivers to fabrication and installation of custom parts on my street rod, Chris and his staff have always provided quality work in a timely fashion. His willingness to pick up and deliver my cars has been a time saver and makes it very easy and convenient to do business with him. He also tackled repair work on my foreign built sports car without hesitation. I do appreciate the commitment he has to his business and his customers, and I will continue to trust my vehicles to his care.

  Quality work at a fair price. Excellent people to work with. They haved worked on my classic corvette and my daily driver with great results.
