We were camping at Rasar State Park several hours away from home when our dog needed urgent care. We called Sedro Woolley Vet Clinic because it was the closest vet and they were able to see him. The office was clean and the staff was friendly. Dr. April Sanders was gentle and took the time to thoroughly explain his condition and answer questions. I expected my pocketbook to get raked over the coals since we were 1 time urgent care patients but was shocked when an exam, a minor procedure, a topical medicine and an antibiotic rang up under $100.

I have to say I was shocked to see there bad reviews when I jumped online to leave this review. This was not my experience at all and I would not hesitate to use them again if I was in the area.

Dr McKee has been very helpful to my dog Rocky and I. Answering questions and getting him in quickly for treatment. Helps me with dosage changes. Returns my calls promptly. Rocky is old, has a really bad heart but Dr McKee has never told us it's time. He's leaving that up to me. And it's not about money because the 4 drugs he's on are gotten through regular pharmacies
It looks like the same 6 or seven people are unhappy with when it comes to financing pet care. You can't just demand credit if you don't have any. Pets are expensive. Pay for your shots, worming, regular maintenance promptly and then when something major comes up your vet knows you and will deal in good faith with you. This goes for any service. If you need pet care at a reasonable price, at least give them a shot.

We've had good care for our two cats over the last three years from Dr. McKee and his staff at Sedro Woolley Veterinary Care. Friendly, kind, professional, and caring. I'm not sure why the piling on with bad reviews here. That's not at all consistent with our experience.

I only have good things to say about Dr. McKee and his staff. My dog has been there for bilateral ACL surgery. Dr. McKee is knowledgeable and compassionate and allowed me to make my own educated decisions about Buddy's care. They aren't super fancy, but the prices are reasonable and I appreciate that I wasn't nickel and dimed for a bunch of stuff that was instead, included in the price. Thank you Dr. McKee and staff!

The new vet McKee has no empathy or compassion. He is quick to tell you to put your pet down. I will never trust this clinic with my animals again. I highly recommend you seek care for your animals elsewhere.

Horrible experience! Have been going here for several years, never very pleased with Dr. McKee, but so long as there was someone else it was ok, until this time. He was rude, arrogant and did not address my pups distress (she had just been hit by a car). Additionally, my son's dog has seizures and Dr. McKee refused to rewrite the Phenobarbital script on an official prescription padpoor Blue paid the price with seizures over that weekend! No Empathy, horrible, horrible, horrible!

Walk ins are welcome, so I did. Nice staff.
My cat got all her vaccinations done, deworm and was microchipped for only $126. GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!Highly recommend!Thank you Sedro Woolley Veterinary Care!

Misdiagnosed a simple abscess and had to call several times and beg for my 3 day follow up visit and started over with a new vet clinic. Do not recommend this clinic.

Dr mckee failed to follow any kind of procedures when handling our 8 month old pup, Tucker, who had been poisoned. McKee told us that Tucker was getting weak in his hind legs and he couldn't explain why. He thought it could have been a blood clot that had formed in Tucker's spine. Tucker had actually lost all function of his hind legs. McKee had our dog in his care for three days before telling us to bring him home and try to feed him ourselves. Even though he was still not ingesting liquids or solids. When leaving McKee stated that we should have never brought Tucker to their clinic do to his condition and their lack of resources. He failed to tell us this information on day one when we brought Tucker in. We ended up taking our dog to Mount Vernon Veterinarian Hospital, where they informed us that Tucker was showing every symptom that comes from ingesting one of two types of rat poisons. Now we are at the mercy of time. The hospital started a new procedure on our puppy and stated that if he does not show signs of improvement within 48 hours he will rapidly lose more functions in the rest of his body, causing total paralysis and soon death.
We are very unhappy with service McKee has given us. Had he followed basic procedures or used his knowledge as a veterinarian to say he could not treat our dog. We could have possibly had a better chance at saving our puppies life. Please if your animal is injured in any way, do not bring them here.

Dr. McKee and his staff are awesome!
They took great care of my very sick papillon while she was there for about 2.5 days. She received plenty of love and care from everyone there.

They were all very rude. They wanted to do all of these testing for my dog which wasn't necessary. They didn't treat my dog very well as he was yeping and crying. The cost is ridiculous!
