I think it is a good alternative to Holden Arboretum in Cleveland for the little ones. It is a good stop on the way from Akron or Canton to the Amish Country. Go to their website to check out special events.
Very nice and very free!
Well kept, quiet, beautiful trees, huge space - I recommend for a quiet walk alone or with someone.
I had no idea there is a kids area. Long slide that challenges children to climb the sandstone steps back to the top. Four concrete culvert/tunnels embedded in the earth Create a 'hobbit' like place for kids to play hide and seek. Three stone turtles stand sentry on the edge of the kids play area waiting for little climbers!
Great place to walk around!
I love to see all the plants, they have a long slide, it's just a sweet place to talk, walk and see things, I can't even explain it all.
Always a favorite place to take the kids. They love playing on the nature-scapes and going down the giant slide. Just watch out at the bottom of the slide, it may be wet.
Loved it here!! Had a great time exploring and playing on the rocks and slide! It's a 45 min drive from us, but so worth it! We want to go again in the fall!
Great gardens and paths. The amphitheatre has some find entertainment.
A hidden gem in the area. Great for walks, exploring and relaxing. Perfect for kids of all ages. It's free. I walk here at least once a week. Love the flowers, trees, gardens and water features.
