  The Scottsdale Children’s Institute is seeking experienced and qualified assistant teachers to work in our inclusive classrooms that utilize the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). We serve children with special needs as well as typically developing children. Classes run in 2, three-hour blocks, from 9:00am-12:00pm and from 1:00pm-4:00pm. Assistant Teachers are expected to work 8 hours per day, 5 days a week. Applicants must have experience in behavior analysis and... the ABA teaching methodology. Teaching assistants will receive excellent supervision and training and will be directly overseen and supervised by Doctoral and Masters level supervisors.

  Our primary purpose is to bring the science of teaching and learning into the lives of as many students as possible. We have a modern and well equipped learning environment. Our goal is to create one of the finest Kindergarten readiness programs in the country that advances the science of teaching and disseminates this knowledge in consumable formats to parents, professionals, and anyone else who serves the learning and behavioral needs of children with and without disabilities.

  This a full-time position intended to fill 40 hours per week. Industry leading pay in addition to performance bonuses will be provided to exceptional job candidates.

  Pay starts at $18 per hour and is highly negotiable based upon experience and expertise with ABA and teaching principles

  We are specifically looking for applicants with the following qualities or characteristics:

  1-2 years of experience working with children 1-2 years of ABA teaching experience Associate's degree or equivalent Eager to learn and improve skills Ambitious and motivated Reliable transportation A passion for serving special needs and typically-developing children Enjoys working in team based, collegial environments
