Favorite diner! Breakfast is delicious, and service is friendly and quick. Wimpy burger, fries, and milkshakes are amazing. But the pies are incredible, so be sure to save room. Chocolate peanut butter is a favorite, but you can’t go wrong with any. So many to choose from. Go for the food, go for the nostalgia and sit at the bar to watch the cook on the griddle. Amazing!

Out for a fall motorcycle ride. We got our first wimpy burger!!! It was so good. Service was great, place is awesome. It was busy, friendly and definitely worth stopping in on a whim. Wish we would have had room for their home made pie. We will be back.

Decent food and friendly service. They have good old homemade food :) their fries were my favorite, they make them from scratch!! We cam here after landing at the airport. Small diner. We ended up sitting at the bar. I definitely recommend thier chicken tenders! The breading was well seasoned and they know how to cook them!

The restaurant is about 5 miles off of hwy 80 but is worth the drive. Wide menu selection and hearty portions. We went for the pie but none us had room not even my teenagers.
What it lacks in atmosphere is made up for in hospitality.

What can I say about this place. When you step in, you feel like you stepped into somewhere out of time, or at least into a different time. It's a place where you'll forget about your cell phone and actually spend time speaking with a person. Or just enjoy the ambiance by yourself. The pies are outstanding, and you'll know you're eating at a real diner - instead of typical restaurant crud. Can't go wrong going here, for nearly any occasion.

This was our first time for us. A very nostalgic feeling to the diner, great atmosphere, Jack was awesome, very friendly, our server Taylor could have been nicer. The menu has a lot to choose from and the food is great! The pies are amazing! If we are ever back this way we would definitely stop by again!

The food is Excellent!!!! The menu choices has a variety of homemade foods. However the service was poor they made me feel unwelcomed. Oh that it was my first time there expected better excellent service. I was very polite and friendly. Unfortunately it just felt like my skin color was an issue. In regards to the service I had received. I would definitely call ahead to place my order for carry out service. If not for the service they would have received a five star rating.

Went there this morning. The food was cheap but great! Our family of 5 ate and got desert for a little over $50!!! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our waitress Kay, went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of and even thanked my sister for her service in the Army! We will definitely be back again!! Thank you ❤️

One of my favorite places in Toledo. Friendly atmosphere, good food, and along pie. Seriously, if nothing else, come for the pie. My wife and I had Schmuckers cater pie for our wedding in lieu of cake it's so good, and apparently that wasn't an original thought. Give this place a try. It is a pretty standard greasy spoon type of joint, but a fantastic one at that.

Loved this place. Hometown dinner feel. The food was great and the service was awesome. Wished I had saved room for a piece of the pies everybody has been telling me about. I'll definitely be making my way back here when I am in town. Also love and respect the being closed on Sundays.

I don't dislike this place butt.. call me old or old-fashioned I first came in here back in the early sixties with my dad. And since I've moved back into Toledo in 97 I've been there many times. But going in there last week and paying $11 plus tip for breakfast I was a bit dismayed that it has to be that expensive. Plate cost two eggs approximately $0.50 biscuits $0.25 Maybe and a little gravy white sauce $0.10 bacon Maybe $0.40. And I asked for a few home fries to go with my breakfast she charged me $2.50. The spuds plate cost probably a dime or nickel.. bullshit I say..!
