loved intimate atmosphere but impersonal service and cafeteria quality food is simply not good enough, given the prices asked and what the menu promises. like dining in a roadhouse tavern, circa 1995.

Service was slow but granted, it was busy. The ribeye was all fat, small & delivered sliced..maybe 4 bites of meat? Highlights here are the atmosphere (reminder, it’s fidi) and crispy brussel sprouts!

The food list is small and everything is Austrian/German, but the alcohol list is long and exciting for its cocktails and central European wines. The space was also super cozy.

Don’t skip the fries! They are delicious. Also the pork and fish were divine. This place deserves better rate than it has.

Quality food, creative decor. Spatzle is a good hearty dish, satisfying. Grilled prawns are beautifully seasoned! Black pepper taglietelle is so delicious! Owner is a Michelin star chef- you can tell!

So happy to have such a great neighborhood spot. Get the fava bean ricotta crostini, the hamachi crudo to start. The strudel is bonkers. The lamb shoulder wasn't what we would have picked but stellar!
