  I just purchased my first (very own) vehicle from Schepel-Buick GMC and I couldn't find one thing to criticize this place on! All the staff members are friendly/helpful/knowledgeable and willing to help you every step of the way to purchasing a new vehicle. The service is outstanding, I felt catered to every minute I was there. I worked with Daniel Q. and he was so awesome! He guided me through the entire process, start to finish (with a smile on his face the entire time), and made my experience so fun and exciting! :) They definitely will not let you leave without being completely satisfied. I STRONGLY recommend giving Schepel a visit if looking to purchase/trade in a vehicle!!

  Every time I call Schepel to schedule a service appointment, the scheduler is always extremely hospitable and accommodating. Whether I need a loaner vehicle or just a certain time of day, Schepel never fails to meet my need.
  
  Whenever I'm in the showroom, I regularly pop in and say "hello" to my salesman Daniel Quinones better known as 'DQ.' Just the other day I did the same but this time I had my daughter with me, who is in the market for her first used car. I mentioned that to DQ and he immediately began to inquire about her likes, dislikes and color preferences. Before I knew it we were on the lot looking at vehicles to her liking.
  
  Schepel is definitely my dealership of choice and DQ my salesman. From sales to service Schepel is a one stop operation that runs on quality and quantity!

  What a nice experience to purchase a vehicle. Rhonda was pleasant as always. This is my second vehicle that I have purchased from Schepel and they have a customer for many many years.   Bought a used vehicle from Schepel GMC. I usually do not write reviews, but after reading all the positive reviews I felt like I had to. I drove 4 hours to purchase a this vehicle. I was told it was serviced before I arrived. When I got home I put it on the lift and inspected it. I found a large dent in the chrome bumper, as well as a dent in the quarter panel. I have had to replace the battery and air filter. The oil was black as black could be. The air filter itself was black. I was driving down the road about a week later and a loud bang came from engine compartment. I had to have it towed and worked on. With that being said, after spending $35,000 on a vehicle I would hope the vehicle was actually checked but I can guarantee it was not. Very disappointed and will no longer do buisness with this place in the future. I also have been waiting on a key to unlock center console and glove box. I was even told we have your key and will ship it. Several months later and still no key. I could really punch someone in the throat just for being lying idiots. I will put this on social media as well and make sure everyone is aware. If I could post pictures in this review I would be more then happy to do so.

  My son recently purchased a Fabulous 2017 GMC Terrain fully loaded and our sales rep Keith was Wonderful! He was patient being that this was his First Vehicle he took the time to explain thoroughly each vehicle he looked at. Before we left he helped him program his phone with blootooth he showed him how to program the radio & navigation system & told him what all the various control buttons were. All in all it was a Great 1st Time Experience and I know he will Always remember it. I Highly Recommend this Dealership.

  Rhonda was an amazing sales rep. She went above and beyond to make sure I had a deal that I was comfortable with and a vehicle that I love! My 2017 GMC Terrain is outstanding! The whole team at Schepel is known for there outstanding Customer Service. This is my second vehicle purchase at Schepel in Merrillville and I will continue to be a lifelong customer.
