Great location, and a solid price. It had everything we needed, and the room was quite comfortable. It's definitely a unique place, and a bit quirky, but I like quirky spots so that's a plus in my book. Everyone is very friendly, and the owners were very accommodating considering we got in a bit late. Would recommend.

Not a good experience. Never saw the proprietors. The bath towels smelled bad. An obnoxious, yappy dog was allowed to sit out in the yard and bark as much as he pleased. Unfortunately, he was right under my window. I called the Inn phone number to complain, no answer. The house is conveniently located to downtown Manteo and in a pretty area. Just not a restful weekend for me. I was disappointed.

My husband and I stayed in the guest house on our wedding night and it was perfect. Clean, comfortable and in a great location. We had such a great mini staycation and we hope to make it a tradition on our anniversary to come stay again! Thank you so much. Would reccomend to locals and visitors.

This B&B is what it is all about. If you want a lot of traffic, techno and commerce, you may want to check Holiday Inn Express. This inn represents what a true outer banks experience is like- calm, peaceful, clean, hospitable and charming.

I called Phil up while seeking lodging tonight, entirely by mistake. After a few moments of confusion he explained my error and that he had no vacancies himself. He then asked me where I was and began to give some very helpful advice on finding a place for the night. Thanks to his recommendations I'll be sure to think of them first the next time I return to this area. It's one thing to get good service when you're paying for it and another to get it when there's nothing in it for them.
