  I really can't say enough great things about this veterinary clinic! This is the second vet we've taken our box turtle to, trying to resolve some plastron fungus, and I am kicking myself for not making this the first place we went to.
  
  The first place we had gone (avian and exotic vet clinic), and wasted a year of time with, really did nothing of value for our turtle.
  
  But back to Scales & Tails:
  From the second we got here, it was just apparent that we were in good hands. The tech spent 40+ minutes taking down all the relevant information about my animal, and his habitat, and then took my animal into their care for the next 7 hours, doing a very thorough exam, and coming up with a plan that I'm hoping is going to actually make a difference. They made sure that we knew how to do the things they prescribed for our turtle, and scheduled us another appointment for 3 weeks at a discount to check up on the progress.
  
  I'm just relieved that this vet is nothing like the last vet. This place is the real deal, and worth the drive out to Beaverton.

  I have been trying to get an appointment with this vet for 2 years. At first, covid had everything messed up, so I didn't think much about not getting a call back when I left a message, but there's no way that is the reason I can't get a call back now. I have called more than 7 times in 2 years and left messages many times. Nobody ever calls back. Nobody ever answers when you call. It's shameful.

  Very happy with my experience here today. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They explain costs before service so you don't have any surprises. They also have great communication and keep you in the loop every step of the appointment. I will definitely be coming back.

  They have provided excellent care for my pet rat. They are always transparent about pricing and always call and make sure that the cost is okay before proceeding. They treat me and my pets with respect, and are always so nice! They are very knowledgeable about rat and rat care which is less common even with exotic vets. The way they do check ins and drop offs with covid now is very efficient. The staff is always professional, but not cold which is important. The pricing is very reasonable. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who owns rats.

  Super appreciate these guys always knowledgeable about information to help with our bearded lizard he's our dude and when we're need I'm glad they're here for us
