We had several items, a few were exceptional, (tenderloin trio & caprese salad), few were average (ribeye and fettuccine). The house salad is iceberg lettuce but you can upgrade for a small fee which i would recommend. The service was efficient, but when the short rib pasta was not edible, it put an unfortunate damper on an otherwise pleasant experience.

When we first arrived at Sarento's we were told we needed a reservation to be seated in the facility. Well, we did not know that a reservation was needed. We were told that the people who don't make reservations have to sit outside or wait 45 minutes to an hour for inside seating. After being outside all day, we decided to put our name on the list and wait for an inside table. Turned out, another family wanted to sit outside, so we took their reservation. We sat down & we were greeted right away. Drinks & appetizers were ordered. About 10 minutes later, our food was ordered. 20 minutes went by then food arrived. The food was good, the two servers did great. Not understating why we had 2 servers. They did a great job.

Very nice place! Service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very nice. I wasn't a huge fan of my Bolagnase, but my family all loved their food! If like to go back and try some other dishes next time we're in the area.

We ate out on the patio for dinner tonight and it was a wonderful experience! The food was genuinely so delicious, all staff went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed, and the ambiance was perfect for a night out. We got drinks, apps, entrees and dessert and our total was around $100 for the two of us which seemed very reasonable for the amount of food we got. Would recommend.

My husband and I got there as soon as they opened for their dinner service. The atmosphere is very fancy, music playing at medium volume in the back ground creating a very relaxing mood. Perfect for Date Night.
The only complaint is that one of our waiters were very hard to understand and very unfriendly. He attempted to take my Lasagna away while I was still eating it. Otherwise, everything had a great flavor and presentation.
The ladies were very attentive, coming over and refilling our drinks/water, asking if we were alright and if wanted more cheese.
The bread sticks are soft warm and fantastic when dunked in pasta sauce.report this review -

I'm only giving it a 2 🌟 because I truly don't understand why a $24.20 pizza would not qualify as an entree?? As well as $7.95 for a small salad, they were skimpy on the dressing. The cracker was a nice taste an decorative look.
Very nice music playing in the back groundnot too loud. Very relaxing atmosphere.
The waiter was very hard to understand and very unfriendly. Otherwise pizza had a great flavor.
The ladies were very nice always coming over and refilling your drinks/water.

I'm stunned at these reviews. We've been here a dozen times and always have a wonderful experience. Yes the servers seem to be out of high school if not still in. They are competent and know the menu.
Now let's talk food. Fabulous appetizers and hot delicious entrées. My wife has chicken Marsala which was hot and presented well. I went basic with spaghetti and meatballs. If you screw the basics up forget about the rest. Meatballs were tender and moist and pasta was cooked properly. Sauce was delicious.
My kids enjoyed it and honestly it was a top notch experience.
Skip the reviews by the bitter miserable haters. They're use to Olive Garden.report this review -

Sarento's was a decent place to eat and has fair prices. We enjoyed the calamari and one of their seafood pastas. Service was exceptional as well.

Ordered an appetizer which never arrived, asked for more bread sticks to enjoy with our food which never arrived, water glasses were empty, drinks too a long time. The excuse we kept hearing was they were very busy but this was a Wednesday evening in late September. I had been there before on a Saturday evening and had better service. The server brought us a complimentary sundae for our trouble. He tried to correct the situation and we appreciated it but our anniversary dinner just wasn't a good experience.

A top restaurant with fresh ingredients, unbeatable service, and a warm sophisticated atmosphere. I have visited the place twice and the food was out of this world. The bar area is really very cozy, the drinks top notch, and what really impressed me was that there was a "team" of individuals taking care of the customers.
It never felt over done, but almost as if one was pampered.
Do yourself a favor and if you are in the Wisconsin Dells.this is a local treasure.
PS. On several nights they have a one man entertainment show playing a keyboard and singing.not my particular cup of tea.report this review
