The beauty of the American shopping experience in Santa Monica is very beautiful, the location of the mall, the views and the design is an additional experience for the visitor
This is a huge amazing place full of open spaces and cool outdoor furniture, easy to access to all stores from different parking areas and levels.. by far my favorite Mall in LA 😀
Nice place to visit after or before the beach. It is like a small mall yet it has almost everything you would need.
We usually stop by here for a break to relax, to eat and to shop if we see something we like.
This is a dog friendly place and many people visit with their pets. I love this policy.
It is not too crowded most of the time and it give a very relaxed atmosphere extended from the beach to here. It is cooler here for some reason and if it gets too hot, you can eat here and enjoy the AC. The malls around this also have AC.
Santa Monica Place is the place you don’t have too much pressure walking and it provides high end and luxurious products for your preference.
I personally like this place and design. The location is also a plus. Just walk from the beach, and you are from Malibu to Beverly Hills kind of feeling.
Took the family for a day of shopping and a nice lunch. Nothing like a day in sunny California surrounded by loved ones. Totally blessed. Plus I got my steps in just walking around
Less shops and less fun.
This mall is conveniently located right off the beach and ocean front. Parking lot is big and with many entrances to the mall and exits to streets. It used to be a very fun, with a big variety of different stores, many comfortable and modern designed sitting and resting areas, luxury department stores, even a high- end movie theater and wine tasting restaurant on its Market Place. However, all of these has been changed by Co-Vid and other disturbance in the past two years. Many comfortable and relaxing sitting areas were removed; many historical stores were closed down, many empty doors and disabled escalators since no one would take them. The famous luxury department store: Bloomingdale was closed, along with a very unique furniture design storeThis mall is still beautifully designed, very clean and spacious, convenient for tourists and local people to visit, but it was certainly not as fun and full of life as prior to 2020.
