Food and drinks were great! Service was out of this world. I can't recommend this place enough. Best restaurant in pocatello by far.

Dinner was delicious, my husband's and I both got the Manhattan steak. It was tender and perfectly cooked. The wait staff was very friendly and professional. I would definitely eat here again and recommend it to friends.

Service and food is as expected with a little higher price restaurant such as this. We went the other night and had an issue with our food not coming out as expected in the time allotted. As I was just about ready to get upset the manager came out explained what happened and wrote off our entire meal. It was very good by the way. We did not expect that at all for four people. Usually fast exceptional service. Manager surprised me making us feel valued even after a mistake. Cozy atmosphere, stuffed salmon and steaks are our go to's. Even for a plumber!

An upscale dining experience.
The wait staff were all exceptionally courteous and the food was good. We tried the chicken Oscar and the fettuccine Alfredo. We were satisfied with our dishes.
The wine list was lacking and overpriced.

Delicious food! Great service, food comes out at a good pace and every time I come the food is delicious!!! The steak is great. Lobster melts in your mouth!! All the flavoring is delicious, the chefs always please me. I appreciate their specials!

They were great manager took a drink request from me while I waited for take out. Bartenders didn't have the cherry syrup but had mixed berry so we tried it really good managers tried it both bartenders & 3 bar maids all liked it they comped my drink manager carried my takeout to my truck gave us real silverware & cloth napkins & thanked me for the new bar drink said when we leave tomorrow just put the napkins & silverware in mail box. Will be back next year fun place great people

This is the place to go for a great dinner. There is actually something on the menu for everyone and every budget. For special nights we have a full dinner. For nights we just want to go out we order off the appetizer menu. We haven't found anything we don't like yet. Very reasonably priced.

Upscale and pricey, Sandpiper serves fabulous meals and has a nice pub, too. Don't miss the fabulous appetizers and the "Big Orange" cocktailYum!

Surprisingly good steakhouse restaurant in Pocatello. My husband and I came here for our anniversary dinner and it was great. They did an excellent job. The restaurants ambiance definitely fits it's name. You will feel like you are in a restaurant on the coast for sure. Don't let that deter you though, it's good food!

This is one of Pocatello's 'fancier' restaurants. I personally enjoy it, but am not thrilled by it. The menu does not have a large amount of variety, although pretty much everything on it is cooked well. I usually order the salmon, which I enjoy. My other family members are more of steak eaters, and they have been pleased with their entrees. Dessert is delicious, and that menu is rather large. You will be paying more at this restaurant to get the better quality of food that they serve here.
Just as a warning, if you want to be able to hear anything, you have to sit on the restaurant side and not the bar side. We made that mistake once, and I was the only one in the party who was able to hear the waiter. By the time we left that day, all of us had ringing in our ears.report this review -

Thought it would be a nice place to have dinner on Thanksgiving day, the service was the worst I have ever experienced in a high class resturant. Maybe it is not high class anymore. The salad had way too much dressing and when our food arrived we had to ask where our appetizer was. My halibut was good, but the dry rub steak my husband ordered was not as good as the price and the terrible waiter would suggest. We waited 10+ minutes trying to get our waiters attention to get the check.

Not a place I can frequent because of the higher prices but it is good food and a fun atmosphere. Great place to take out of town guests.

Was good not great. Caesar salad lettuce was prepared the day before with browning edges and dressing was closer to ranch. Seared scallops were cooked nicely but risotto under them was way over cooked. Good flavor. Service was slow, but maybe that's the intent. Just passing through for work.

This restaurant was delicious and a surprising find when I was visiting Pocatello. They have consistently good food and exceptional service. I had a Steak and it was pretty good. I also had a small house salad with Shrimp.
