Horizons Exploratory Academy (HEA) is currently hosting an electronics recycling drive. For a $10 fee you can drop of any electronics (with the exception of old style CRT TV's and monitors). You can drop your old electronics for recycling to the HEA located on 9th Street across from the High School on Friday, April 12 from 8 am to 4:30 pm and Monday April 15 from 8:00-4:30 pm,
All proceeds go toward HEA activities.

Salida School District invites all Salida community members, parents and staff to an information fact finding session regarding growth and the partnership potential with Colorado Mountain College. This important meeting affects YOU- everyone in our circle. The decision to ask for a tax to be included in the Colorado Mountain College District is a big one! Our school board wants to make sure everyone has the information needed to believe in the power of this collaboration, how we can leverage to make our community even more dynamic, and to find out what questions and concerns are out there. This meeting will be interactive, allowing each person to listen and engage at whatever level is most comfortable. The physical facilities side as well as the opportunities available for education will be discussed along with many other ideas and scenarios. This is your chance to not only gather information but to help shape the future path. It is an exciting time to be in Salida!
When: Monday April 8th 2019 – dinner provided free at 5pm in the SHS Commons followed at 5:30 by the community meeting
