Some of the best Thai food in town, including some specialty dishes that are hard to find. Spice is occasionally inconsistent, but they have always been good at correcting to my tastes. The Thom kha is basic but competent. Try the kao soi and the pad kra pao, and the egg rolls, and the drunken noodles. Also a small but decent beer and wine menu. And it shares a parking lot with Brewvies, on case you would like to simultaneously get a drink and take in a show after dinner. Closed between lunchtime and dinnertime, sadly.
Delicious food and big portions! I don't know how they stay in business offering such a good deal! I brought my son and he loved it too! And the service was also great :)
KHAO SOI! As far as I know this is the only place in the area that has this, my favorite meal (think Thai-style ramen). Try it out and you won't be disappointed. I come here as often as budget will allow; generous portions, authentic Thai food, and usually there's a groupon.
A few times I've been there and there has only been one person working front of house, which made service a little slower than normal, but the one server was hustling and I felt taken care of.
This place has delicious Thai food and great service we've been 3 times and would go back again if we still lived in Utah. I'm not sure why it is not busier, though the location may have something to do with it.
This is the best Thai restaurant I have been to. The lunch vegetarian options are decent and the vegetable soup that comes with the lunch meal combo is excellent. The main dishes have plenty of vegetables with the curry and rice. Overall, a healthy and filling lunch that has good value for the money.
I was waiting for a table and the owner and his daughter happened to be there. He cleared the table for us.
The food was quite good. In particular the Pineapple Fried Rice was excellent, among the best I've ever had. The spicy thai squid salad was also very good. Most places overcook the squid so that it is rubbery, but Sala did it just right. The portions are gigantic.
I did not try the Chicken Phad Thai, which is most people's favorite, because the owner mentioned that it was tomato-based (red color) instead of tamarind-based (brown color). I tend to always prefer the tamarind type.
The decor was nice and noticeably open instead of crowded.
This is one of the best Thai restaurants in Salt Lake City and I have tried almost every time restaurant in the valley. The flavor and quality of food was amazing! The service was very fast and very friendly and thay have generous portion sizes.
The food was pretty awesome. We had ordered a Red curry and a yellow curry and it was delicious. The price and place were good. I would definitely recommend it to someone who enjoys Thai. Still haven't tried the other Thai places in SLC yet.
Been coming here for a couple years and I've never had one complaint! The food is great and so is the service. Only place I come for Thai food.
Wow this place is unbelievable. I asked for the peanut sauce, and they made it fresh! It is the best peanut sauce I have ever had. Simply amazing!
The yellow curry was delicious. Tried to order wine from the menu provided. The server advised she was underage and unable to serve adult beverages. No one else available. No manager on duty. Would have doubled our bill. Only two other tables occupied while we were there during dinner.
Ate here for valentines day. Food was fantastic. The green curry could have had more broth but the flavor and content was on point. The papaya salad was amazballs. Would definitely come back for the papaya salad.
