St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church (English: St Mary's Roman Catholic Church) is a church of the Roman Catholic Church of Christendom, which is present near the center of St Mary Street, Monmouth, Wales. This cathedral was the public place of the first Roman Catholic worship permitted in Wales after the European Reformation. The architecture of the church is of later Georgian Roman Catholic churches, in which later Victorian additions were made by the Catholic converted architect Benjamin Baconol. [1] The Church is the Grade II listed building since August 15, 1974 and is one of the 24 places of the Monmouth Heritage Trail .[2
