for someone to complain about the amount of food you get? Maybe you should appreciate what is given? These people are kind, they are helpful, they help at christmas time also and Ive never had a bad experience, If your pregnant and need Milk get a part time job or apply for WIC dont blame a church for not helping you, Anything is a help, appreciate what you have. say thank you and try attending a church not only for free food. GOD is good..

My boyfriend went to the St Joseph's church for their food pantry if I can post a picture of the food we got for 60 days! A bag of macaroni and cheese, a box of cereal, a can of sweet corn, toilet paper, a can of ravioli, a can of tomato sauce, and a can of chicken noodle soup. This is supposed to last 60 days! The 15 dollar voucher to Market Basket was the only good part! I can buy milk since I'm pregnant! What sucks is several families with three children got the same amount of food!! On top of rude volunteers literally no food don't go to this church go to the First United Methodist church or the New Horzons!

Msgr Anthony is a good priest, very kind and intellectual. His sermons challenge people and he always has something interesting to say. He is not a wishy-washy priest that is so common in the world.

Since Father Cooper has been moved, it's just another cold catholic church. The current priest has spent too many years reading books and not with the common man he is very hard to relate to.

Not only is St. Joseph's Cathedral the best Church to worship God in, but it is also the most beautiful Church in the entire state. This Church is as beautiful on the inside as the outside. The moment you enter the doors, you can feel the tranquility wash over you and a peaceful calming effect overtakes you.
I personally enjoy Father Cooper's Sermons. They are always so inspiring and somehow they always seem to touch on a subject that affects me personally as well. He has a flare that somehow mingles the old Church with the new. He always works in todays problems in a way that completely captivates you and really holds your attention.
If you're a newcomer to the area or simply finding your Faith again, I would highly recommend St. Joe's to anyone.response / report this review
