Very nice beach, it has showers and a place to buy food
There is a ranger-guided tour to the sunken meadows and ecology on Fire Island at 11:15 am. The exploration center has three fish tanks and a touch table with horse-shoe crabs for kids to learn. The tree trunk and leaf exhibit was also informative. The rangers are very helpful and friendly , there.
Beautiful pristine beach, great views of sunset.
The walking trails that leave from here are very cool. The staff working in the visitor center are very nice and do tours of the walkways fairly regularly. Their are some sitting areas down the trails in the shade of the forest. So I recommend if you want to explore the dunes doing it on a cool day.
My favorite place on earth. Quite and naturally beautiful. Sunrises are spectacular. Don't come here if your looking for "night life".
Great place to boat. Quiet and family oriented beach.
Really informative and helpful park rangers. Ask them anything!
Closed in the off season, along with the rest rooms.
Watch out for freeloaders
