  First of all Sue at the registers is AMAZING,!!!!
  
  Very disappointing and disgusted. My wife purchased yogurt last week and when she ate it she realized it was spoiled. The expiration date was was Sept. ‘17! She went back and looked at the rest of the yogurt and they were all expired. She told the dairy person and his reply was “Oh, I guess the person who stocked this didn’t look at the dates.”I just purchased their Safeway brand of brown rice yesterday. When I got home and opened the bag there were all these little black bugs crawling around.

  Pretty good grocery store. More brand name labels than Wal-Mart, but higher prices too. Much higher if you don't use their loyalty card.

  Very helpful and easy to access. In and out in no time. Prices are fair but they're not winning any awards for low price groceries.

  I thought this was the best Safeway store I've ever been into. Really clean, very spacious, it wasn't busy, there were no lines to wait in, everything was in stock and they had a lounge with a TV. The deli had a huge variety which was nice. I like this place.

  The store seems fine... It does get a little busy at times and the line can get too long. But their Pharmacy here is one of the best. Very helpful,quick, and friendly. Store seems nice and clean and prices seem a little high though but thats Safeway for ya

  This is the cleanest grocery in Surprise. They are higher priced compared to other. Fridays have $5 specials. You will pop in to Starbucks here get right out.

  Clean place and not very busy. But seemed to lack something. Tough to say exactly what it is. Was sort of scattered and limited selection on certain items.

  This store is so clean I could eat off their floor! The Sales Associates are all friendly and polite. Their vegetables are so fresh! The meat department is wonderful. It is definitely worth getting their loyalty card and the Just For U app - great price savings!! Great store!!

  It was fun. Came in to purchase a fidget spinner for my son, spoke to a mom in line and convinced her to purchase one for her son also! (Turns out they are both in the same Summer Camp.)
  This place is always clean and EVERYONE there is polite and nice!!

  Sure the prices may be a little higher at safeway but you sure can get in and out quicker then going to other stores. Watch for thier adds and you can really save some money and time. Always clean and good parking. Sometimes its worth paying a little more to shop without a line of people trying to go down the same isle

  Usually not many people in store. Location has a Starbucks. Store has good in stocks. Store also has a pharmacy that has drive thru option for drop offs

  Prices still more than the frys across the street, i expect this location to close soon. Lack of cashiers. Sometimes its busy and there are only 1 or 2 registers open. Deli is ok. They used to have a good deal on a 8pc fried chicken for 4.99 with club card and they got rid of it so I tend to go to the frys across the street.

  I love this store. The prices are fair , some things are cheaper and some more expensive than Fryes or Walmart. However It's a better shopping experience because of less people there . It's much better than Fryes which is a zoo any time of day. I hate that store. The layout sucks at all of them. The aisles are too narrow and there's never enough parking. It's worth it to me to pay a few bucks more .
