This place was so filthy. We sat down to feast on greasy, comfort food and I wiped down the table with some paper towels and hand sanitizer. The filth on those napkins was shocking! Those tables are not being wiped down at all. The bathrooms were even more disgusting. Broken mirror, feces and urine on the floor. It looks like they have stopped cleaning. I was so disturbed by what I found that I had to re-edit my previous review. I visit this Stuckey's yearly while travelling.
This place is rascist, the boss is rascist and hate blacks she only got a black lady working because the law requires you to hire so many differ people, the food is nasty and the workers left fries uncovered and serves to people. I see why they don't keep alot employees I wouldn't want work at nasty place such as this either.
Stuckey's of Mapsville was a wonderful place to go eat and/or shop for snacks 30 years ago and continues to give the same excitement and magical feelings to my children 30 years later. Since my childhood, my mom would bring my sister and I to Stuckeys for our "out to eat" night and we would enjoy some amazing burgers and fries. Whenever we, kids, had extra money we would walk to Stuckey's to load up on fireworks and candy. Fast-forward 30 years later, my kids were enjoying the same amazing burgers/fries and loading up on fireworks and candy. Love this store and I hope I can bring my grandbabies out here 30 years into the future.
Fun place to stop for fuel, food, and pecan logs! Counter food is old school. Decent meal for not too much scratch. They have fireworks when in season. Bathrooms are a bit wonky but have always been clean on my visits.
Great food & wonderful friendly service.Never disapointed. It's just good food at a reasonable price.I always stop there on my way through the area. You should too.☺
Can't even go inside and just purchase a mt dew with a debit or credit card unless you buy at least 5 dollars worth of stuff. What a dump
Old school. Delicious greasy food. Not for the health conscious. Well priced. Super friendly staff. This is not a gourmet reataurant.
The food at the diner was good and very reasonably priced. Friendly service
Great spot to stop and stretch, pleasant people with great welcoming spirit.
Stuckeys is a horrid little tourist trap selling overpriced trinkets, candies and fast food. But for those journeying from the north eastern states on their way to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge/Tunnel for the beaches of Virginia and North Carolina, it is something of a necessary evil and, dare I say it, a tradition. Families wishing to stretch their legs, use the bathroom, get a bite to eat and fill the tanks of their cars will almost always stop at Stuckeys.
