  Excellent Outfitter! As a former river guide who participated as a client on a Selway trip with SOAR, I can say this is a top-notch outfit. Ari is a thoughtful Owner and Guide who covers all the amenities and uses the best equipment. The food was perfect and the guide staff were very professional. Most importantly, they are knowledgeable and FUN!

  We just completed a 6 day rafting trip on the main Salmon river with Ari Kotler's Soar Northwest. This is our second trip with Ari and crew. The Salmon was amazing in its beauty and historical relevance, but what made it so much more awesome was the knowledge and love for this river that Ari was able to impart to us. Being unplugged but so fantastically served was the best! We feel so lucky to have been part of this trip. Would highly recommend to anyone, adults and children alike!

  We booked a Selway River rafting trip with SOAR and from start to finish, the experience was stellar. The good people at SOAR were highly experienced and attentive to detail. A month or so before the trip the owner called us and reviewed some of the details of the trip and took our many questions. It was great to get our bearings that far out. When we got to Missoula the night before the trip was to begin, the whole thing, from orientation to the end of the trip ran like a Swiss watch. The information provided was spot on. The equipment we were issued was all in great shape and perfect for this river run.
  
  On the river safety was always addressed and, in consequence, we were all confident and really had a great time. The food was plentiful and good. Always snacks and cocktail ice available on shore and many laughs. The SOAR crew on our trip were all very experienced river guides (an incredible number of years of combined experience), competent, interesting and fun to be with. They took care of us far beyond what we expected and were, in addition to being our guides, were great companions to be on the river with for a week.
  
  We have rafted commercially on several rivers in the west over the years. I would raft with SOAR again in a heartbeat and, in fact, we are looking at their next year's schedule already. Rafting companies are not all the same. SOAR will not disappoint.
