    We were trying to get 3 pallets from Los Angeles, Ca.90058 to Houston, Tx. 77036, we called in on Friday around 2.00 pm and they informed us that they will definitely pick up the goods on Friday, but No Show, then they came Monday morning around 11.30 am and picked up the 3 pallets, and it Clearly says on the Website 3 days transit time, so today is Thursday which is 3 days, when I called in today, they told me that we will not get the goods till next Tuesday Dec.19th, 2017., which means it is 8 days transit time, WHICH IS A FALSE ADVERTISING. I had other choices for 3 and 4 days transit time, and I choose Shift for the First time, and I get the Bad Bad Experience. These are all Christmas related merchandise, and If I do get on Tuesday, then it is too late. I have no idea if I am going to get it or not. But I am very unhappy with the Service and False Advertising. The Freight goes to Dallas first and then transfers to Houston. They do not have Direct Service. Other trucking Company were little Cheaper but they had 4 days service and Shift had 3 days service so
    I chose Shift, and I got Screwed.

    Customer service is slightly responsive, however delivery times were just unacceptable. Quoted 5-7 days, freight picked up 11/20. Estimated Delivery of 12/13. Its 12/8 today with no sign of the freight and had to call. Tracking on the site is a joke with very little updates, ETA on the site shows 11/29. Looks elsewhere.

    We used shift freight for 3 separate freight shipments all promised with 4 day delivery. We are 3 weeks in and all 3 are still in transit. With no end in sight. Every week a new promised delivery date. I recommend you use any other method to transport your goods... city bus, camel, horse and buggy, toddler with a red wagon.... etc Your shipment will arrive faster.

    Shipment was picked up in California on 9/15 upon scheduling it was a 4 day transit delivering to Missouri, today is 9/28 and I still do not have my shipment. Called on 9/27 was told it would here before 1pm. Now I am on hold listing to the worst business music ever.

    Unfortunate, this could have been a good company to use but after my third shipment and with all the recent reviews I think I will be using others. Its taken almost 3 week for them to deliver from LA to Minnesota . That's usually only a 4 day transit. I shipped on 8/4 and it 8/21 as I am writing this and it still has not been delivered. As a matter of fact, they cant even find the parcel with their partner carrier. They are just like RoadRunner and Frontline Freight, also two other sub par carriers. Im at a lost for words, especially because you have to be put on hold for soo long to speak to someone...

    Should be negative star...rerouted our shipment to another part of country. Called and they said it would be rerouted right away. Did not happen. Our shipment sat there several days. What should have been a 3 day route will end up taking 8 business days. Stay away!!!

    Plenty of people beat me to punch here but Shift is THE WORST. They lost my freight for approx 2 weeks, ended up taking 29 days to ship 4 skids from St Louis, MO to Los Angeles, CA. They only started caring about finding the freight after we started the claim process. You call and sit on hold for 20 minutes at a time. When you get someone on the phone they are generally clueless. I attempted to recoup some of the freight charges since my customer lost out on a sale and the response was "we don't guarantee service". I would understand 5 or 10 or maybe even 14 days transit but it took 29 days. They lost me a customer and I won't make that mistake again. Well done Shift(y) Freight.

    I move a lot of freight all over the country. This company is by far the worst freight company of all time - no joke. Very long transit times, terrible customer service, additional charges from their agents for events that are not the customer's fault. Not to mention having the most ANNOYING hold music I have ever heard in my life. You couldn't pay me to use this company again.

    Took over 3 weeks for a pallet of popular product to arrive to Chicago. We are only 2 hours from Chicago and our pallet sat in the terminal for 4 days before the regional carrier was even notified of a pallet that needed picked up. Sat on hold for over 10 mins 4 different times when I called SHIFT. Each time they told me it would be here tomorrow. After 3 days in a row w/out getting it, we had to use a complete different trucking company to deliver our stuff, which arrived the day after we requested that. Awful company and communication. Definitely was lied to multiple times.

    They originally quoted 5 business days, and they picked up on the date we requested but our delivery arrived after 9 business days. The online tracking was not very helpful, and eventually just said "Give us a ring to discuss your shipment" instead of an ETA.
    On the other hand, customer service was friendly, and when they said "tomorrow," it did arrive the next day as promised.
    I wouldn't hire them again for a time-sensitive shipment, but their rates are very low and customer service does pick up the phone.

    Shift put our shipment on the rail against our instructions. They lost an important PALLET of our goods. Then lied about for 4 days. All the CSR's are exceptional at excuses and lying. We are dropping our freight broker over this use of substandard carriers like this.

    This was perhaps our worst experience with a freight company in 10+ years of business. We were foolish enough to give them a second chance which I now thoroughly regret. We were given an estimated 5-6 day transit time when we scheduled the pick up from CA. That was 12 days ago and the freight has not yet been delivered. The company keeps pushing the ETA back and no one really seems to know what is going on. Customer service is extremely unhelpful. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

    Company was supposed to picked up on a Monday blew us off because they stated their truck was full already. (Is that amazing or what?) Ok so we were patient and waited till the next day for pick up. Again they called and blew us off for the same reason. Finally had to go with different carrier because we treasure our customers! This is a great example of how you lose your business one by one we will never use this company again. Good Luck Shift!!!!

    Booked a shipment with an estimated 4-day transit. Took them 7 days to deliver it. Tried to get them to let me intercept the freight at my expense as it was needed for an event. They refused to even consider it, citing their company policy on not opening sealed trailers until they reach the final terminal.

    I offered to pay to have a Shift Freight representative be the ones to intercept the freight and carry it to the final destination. Again, they refused to even consider it.

    My customer didn't get their custom product in time for their event, and I was forced to find an out-the-box product at the last minute (and at a much higher price) to replace the delayed freight.

    Will never use them again.
