This restaurant on Roper Mountain Road is a great addition to Greenville. It's been here for a number of years but it's been somewhat in the shadows since the downtown Riverwalk location is opened in the Embassy Suites. Both have great food and great quality but the atmosphere is much better downtown. The Management's outstanding and very accommodating especially in the downtown location. Don't miss the opportunity to eat here.
Always incredible food. The ribeyes are the best. Very knowledgeable staff.
I went to the bar. The bartenders were not all that busy and were not particarly friendly, although they did a good job. The drinks were over priced.
Brought my daughter here for her 18th birthday. Food was great. Service was great. Brian was wonderful and very friendly waiter.
Love this place, good food! Hardly recommend.
A good steak house but not the best in Greenville. The shrimp was flavorful and so were the mushrooms. Cesar salad was standard. Went for the petit filet mignon (8oz, $39 dinner) which I’ll rate as 4 stars. Went for medium well, and personally I felt it lean more towards medium. Creamed spinach ($9) and mashed potatoes ($9.5) on the side were rich. The cheesecake was dry and average. Overall, a 3star experience for me. For the best steak in town, gotto head to Halls.
One of the worst experiences. Sent steak back three times due to it coming out rare rather than medium well. At a place specializing in steak one would think they would be able to cook it to order. Ambiance is mediocre and service was lacking for an upscale restaurant
Best Ruth Chris I've ever been too! Our server was amazing. He did a great job explaining a lot of the menu and specials. Very nice scenery and environment. My filet and lobster tail were absolutely delicious. Definitely won't be the last time that I come to this Ruth Chris. Recommend visiting this restaurant highly.
The food was not up to Ruth Chris standards, nor was the service.
I had the bbq shrimp (a Ruth Chris specialty) and it was tasteless. I wasn't offered bread with my salad, appetizer or entree. The filet was good, but not great, and the Lobster Mac and Cheese was overcooked, dry, and unimpressive. There are much better steakhouses in Greenville!
Okay experience. The steak was great; however, the lobster Mac was far from creamy. It tasted as if it had sat out for some time before coming to the table.
We were so excited to go there but the experience was horrible. I had to send my steak back because it was burnt beyond believe then the young man filling the water glasses spilled ice and water on my husbands food but the most horrific thing was they tried to bill is twice for the tip. Come on the money we paid for this dinner why would you want to treat your patrons like this
What a great experience, the food, service and atmosphere is exceptional. Everything is the best of the best. I have only one negative comment, the spinach was not as hot as I would like.
One of my favorite steakhouses. I give most of them 5 stars because I just love steak
Yes, it's expensive, so I don't go often, maybe once or twice a year However, when I do go, it's great! Beautiful restaurant, nice and quiet, so you can have a romantic dinner, or even a business dinner.
We had an amazing time. I am so appreciative to the staff for making my birthday dinner nothing short of outstanding. Due to Hall's Chophouse not wanting to accommodate the party I chose Ruth Chris. They were so willing to accommodate, even with me changing the reservation so many times, they still had the room set up and ready to go. It was around 20 of us and the meal was exceptional. Stephanie was so knowledgeable and understanding. She had the orders correct and was prompt with service considering the size of the party. I definitely would recommend Ruth Chris.
