This place is the best! A little out of town so it doesn’t get the crowds food delicious and the wait staff the best around. 5 stars

Very rustic setting beside a mountain stream. The food is classic tavern and delicious. We've eaten in and also done take out. If you're visiting the White Mountains, this is a great stop for the family or the crew.

Appearances are a bit decieivng. Pulled up to what seemed like any other bar and grill. Inside is updated with a nice bar and flat screen TVs and an outdoor patio for eating. I'm not a fan of thin crust pizza (I'm from NY) but this may have been the best pizza I've had in NH thus far. My wife enjoyed the pasta dish as well. Staff was friendly and prompt.

Pleasantly surprised, inside all renovated. Food was delicious and service was great. Not normally a thin crust pizza fan, but this was delicious. Pasta dish was so good, and large portion that I was disappointed I couldn't finish it off.

Was walking distance from our campsite. Inside and patio seating. Generous portions. Friendly staff and good service. Mostly Italian dishes but good seafood too. $$ to $ $ $.

I live local to the Rustic River Restaurant, been going there on an as-needed basis for about a year! I get cravings for two food items they have which I must have :) from time to time!
1. Their whole belly fried clams w/french fries (oh yes!)
2. Their chocolate mousse pie for desert (yes please!).
The fried clams are fresh, tasty and tender and the french fries are good, they're seasoned. The chocolate cake to the mousse pie is always fresh and moist and the mousse rich and thick. I sometimes order these food items as take-outs as you can see in the photos. The restaurant itself is clean, casual and the staff are all smiles and eager to please. The restaurant has a handful of large, flat screen TVs to watch the game. People also bring their children to eat. Everyone has a good time. The owner often chats and laughs with the customers, he makes certain you have everything you want or need so to have a good time.response / report this review -

Really good food and that is a treat in the White Mountains. Nice interior. The owner is very friendly and runs a nice, clean, family friendly place. I like the shrimp scampi and my kids like the pizza.

Its not fancy - but its good and that is a treat in the White Mountains. The owner is very super nice and runs a nice, clean, family friendly place. I like the shrimp scampi and my kids like the pizza.

Excellent steak tips, pizza, clams, and good atmosphere. A great place to grab a beer and watch the game. Much better food and atmosphere than that other sports bar up the road
