The food is excellent, freshly prepared. Some reviewers said it took time, but you can opt to get your salad before the meal. By the time you're done with the salad, your food will be there. I like that no one rushes you. Service & staff very friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere. We'll definitely go back!

Overall the food was good. Chicken was moist and tender, beef was flavorful (though a tad salty) and we enjoyed the variety of flavors in the rice. None of us cared for the soup we ordered. If it's your first visit I recommend trying one of the combo plates to see what you like.

We came in and literally waited 1.5 hours for food. We watched people come in after us, order, eat, leave, and then another party at the same table did the same thing. And what's really terrible is the friend we went with was SO excited for us to go there. When they finally gave us our food, it wasn't prepared well, almost as if they were just trying to get it out to give us something, and several of the orders were incorrect that's AFTER they brought some plates out and then removed them from in front of our salivating friends before they got to touch them (I still don't understand why). We didn't complain and tried to make the best of it, but they never even tried to apologize. Needless to say, none of us will be going back. The experience here made us very sad and disappointed.

I understand that may be your goal. However, when we came that was not the case and your staff was completely aware. Instead of replying to the comment on here, perhaps you and/or your staff could have tried to apologize or rectify what happened and this review could have been very different.response / report this review -

My wife and I, have been going to Rumi's sense they've been open. We have never been upset with service or the food. The people who work their are very nice and friendly. They get an excellent #10, great job.

We ate dinner at Rumi's recently. It was an amazing experience. The food, the decor and the service were excellent. And all this at a fair price. Highly recommended!

Birthday.
Great food
Hubby loved his old fashion cocktail
Seating too close together as one negative.
Get a window seat on second table if possible more private
It was expensive,140 for 1 cocktail, 2 desserts, 1 coffee , 3 small plates and 1 large.

I wanted to like it lot--everything sounded so good on the menu, but my specialty hot dog was just okay. The blue cheese wasn't very noticeable, leaving me disappointed. The fries were a bit too soggy. Two hot dogs and two orders of fries came to about $25, which seemed kind of steep.

The toppings are always so fresh. My only complaint is that the burgers are so thin, the bun to meat ratio is off. But still very tasty and great staff.
