Some of the best pasties in the area. Their newer location has beautiful views of the portage but is a bit more out of the way.

Love the food, best pasties in town! Coffee selection is great when they have some brewed, twice now I've been in and they were out of coffee for at least one blend.

For a different sort of pasty, I enjoy the turkey, cranberry, stuffing and gravy. It's like a Keweenaw Thanksgiving. The Persians and deserts are fresh bakes, delectable and make spectacular treats. The sourdough bread is made from a 20-year-old-starter and it's a staple at our house.

Great place for lunch. Their "Superior" sandwich might be the best ham & cheese sandwich I've ever had. Also, their baked goods are extremely delicious. The kitchen is open to the dining area so you can watch them making the doughnuts and other things.

Love your bakery and now you guys are my new heroes since you have a hard-to-get Republic of Tea flavor (Cranberry Blood Orange Black Tea). If you are reading this review don't buy that tea thoughthey're all mine!

Excellent quality bakery with some fantastic Finnish goods sold as well(mostly bread). Everything I've had from here has been top-notch, especially the pasties.

Very clean, modern establishment. Inexpensive, high quality food. Most the food is prepared before you arrive but it is most delicious.

One of the best breakfast experiences I've ever had! Great variety and assortment of pasties and other warm breakfast items, as well as an awesome donut and baked dessert selection. Very friendly staff, as well as great seating arrangements. Place is has plenty of room to sit down, as well as a unique modern look that makes it special. It's also situated right on the river so you can eat and look out in the river! A must-stop breakfast café whenever you're in the Upper Peninsula.

I LOVE their breakfast Danish, but you have to get there early to get it. You can call ahead and have them reserve items for you too. Great bakery and pasty shop right on the Portage. Great views of the bridge and Hancock. This is THE place for breakfast and baked goods.

I come here for the gyros. First few times they were perfect. Then they started overcooking the meat, but I just remind them to not cook it to a crisp and they're back to being perfect. Today I got the cheesecake too. Best cheesecake ever!!!!
