I dont call myself a bagel expert but my wife and i certainly appreciate good food. Where we are from, we swear by our local bagel spot and i have to say this rough dough with a hole bagel and deli is absolutly one of the best places we have ever been. Fantastic spread selections and the bagels are so perfect. I say this is the best bagel breakfast place on the jersey shore period.

The food is good but due the amount of customers they get the service was good. Its alittle over priced but what can you exoecr when you go down the shore.

The food is good. The people could use an attitude adjustment. Granted it was busy as it was 4th of July weekend, but a smile would be nice. My fiancé asked for an ice coffee and the woman just pointed to the fridge. They had cups with coffee ice cubes. Never told us that there were airpots with iced coffee so he ended up just using hot coffee. When he went up to ask for straw the guy working the counter threw it at him. I use to work at a restaurant in Seaside Park, I get what it's like to be stressed and busy, but I still always was friendly and helpful and never treated anybody like they were an annoyance to me.

Just got home and opened our food.

We got pork roll egg and cheeses and they melted the cheese on top of the bagels?!

This place makes my favorite bagels in all of Ocean and Monmouth counties. They have all the normal varieties, plus specialty bagels and specialty cream cheeses. They are real bagels; soft inside, crisp outside. Show up in the first hour of the day and you'll get a perfect egg bagel, still warm.

Ordered 14 different breakfast sandwiches in advance for a picnic near the water. Courteous, easy ordering. Everything ordered to par and hot when picked up. ALL 14 people LOVED their breakfast. The bagels are very large, loaded with egg and meat. Phenomenal! And, truth be told, fam is northern NJ and NY bagel snobs. Extremely picky when it comes to bagels, had low expecting, but were very impressed! Crumb cake. yum. Thank you Round Dough with a Hole! All of our families will be back!

Not only is the food extremely well prepared and high quality the atmosphere is very friendly. I had made a special request once and had the best pancakes I ever ate. Mike and his knowledgeable staff make very visit more enjoyable than the last. They just not only take care of your want to eat the staff also is quietly assisting the community. I highly recommend Round Dough With A Hole!!!!!
