Service is always friendly. Just on the slow side at times. The local products are amazing. The coffee at times is grainy at times too.
Open Mic Night at the Root is great. 3 hours of good live music. Good variety of music. Wish it were more than once a month.
Cozy, homey very personal. Great coffee too! Great place to hang and visit with friends. Some handcrafted art for sale and on didplay.
Best coffeehouse in the area!! Friendly staff, great environment, and lots of local art available for purchase. Not to mention the coffees, smoothies, and PB&Js are ON POINT every single time! Never disappointed!! We love this place - great for the whole family!!
Root is a local coffee house that uses a local roaster for their beans. If coffee isn't your thing they offer much more. There is a nice selection of teas, Italian sodas, smoothies and shakes. They also have baked goods and sandwich options.
In addition to all of the consumable goods Root hosts local artists work and has for sale local designs and goods. You will find anything from hats to honey at Root.
There is free wifi and it is the perfect environment to work or meet with friends.
Nice atmosphere and good service. Pittsburg's lucky to have such a place.
Great coffee, great atmosphere! Also, I really liked the music they played.
Amazing coffee. Awesome service. Live about 30 minutes away but the drive is so worth it. Absolutely love this place.
Love this shop! Coffee is always amazing! I love how they have every flavor all year around. They have great service with adorable decor. Great cold brewed coffee!
Customer service is awesome & the atmosphere was quite. Exactly what I needed! I will definitely go back when I'm in Pitt again!
Fantastic local coffee shop with lots of drink options, plus unique PB&J options and pastries. They also sell local homemade products, such as jellys, jewelry, mugs and more. Always hopping.
By far Pittsburg's best coffee shop. An extensive variety of drinks, hot and cold, locally sourced, and gluten free; a huge selection of art, merchandise, and books produced by local folks; and hands down the best, friendliest atmosphere in town, often including local musicians and poets--this place is impossible to beat.
It reminds me of an old British tea shop I would visit when I was very young, the coffee is spectacular and the decor is a wonderful mixture of art created by local artisans, overall a very pleasant experience.
Such a lovely place to enjoy a drunk and baked good. Very cozy and you will feel like you are visiting a friends home
Love love love the hazelnut latte. Best one I've ever had. The service is good too, makes me feel like I'm in the big city right when I'm here at home.
