Room for Love is a 501(c)3 non-profit location on the Seacoast of New Hampshire. Our volunteers lovingly redesign and create rooms for children to positively boost their enthusiasm and outlook on life. Our goal is to create magical spaces for children with health issues, special needs, economic hardship, affected by substance use disorder, etc.Having a special place for a child to grow is crucial to their development. A child's bedroom should be a place of comfort and a reflection of their identity."You're making them feel an attachment and a support at home in their room – a place where they find safety and comfort, and a place where they can think and recharge and get a good night's sleep," says Susanna Salk, design expert, author of Room for Children: Stylish Spaces for Sleep and Play and mom of two.Our volunteers show the children how important it is to create a sense of comfort for themselves – a place where they can feel safe. Giving them the ability to create that is empowering.
