We love Dr Myers! He has that remarkable combination of being an amazing doctor with a pleasant personality. I would trust him implicitly with one of my most prized possessions, my. eyes. He performed my husband's cataract surgery with stellar results . My husband lamented that the only problem is that Dr Myers can't be our family physician as well as our valued eye Doctor. If only there were more doctors like him. He's the very best.

My family (six of us) and I have been patients of Dr. Tom Myers for over ten years now. We continue to trust him with the healthcare of our eyes because of the competent, thorough, and professional way he cares for us. He has treated us for routine eye exams and for emergency situations. With each encounter, he carefully examines our eyes and then provides the appropriate treatment plan. Most impressive is the care in which Dr. Myers explains the examination and diagnosis in language we understand. My family and I highly recommend Dr. Tom Myers!

I would give Dr. Ward my highest recommendation. I had a really great experience with him- I needed an exam and had some questions about Lasik vs glasses. I was able to get right in to see him. He took all the time I needed to answer all of my questions in a clear manner, without being pushy. He is very professional, and obviously has a mastery of ophthalmology knowledge. Staff were really nice to me. I have recommended him to family members, and I will continue to go to him. No complaints!

These are seriously the best eye doctors around. They are very knowledgeable and professional. You can tell they work really hard to get you in fast. I have never had to wait in the waiting room for more than a few minutes. The office is beautiful and has a great atmosphere. The doctors know what they are doing. I will never go to another eye doctor. I wish all doctors were this awesome!!

I've been a patient of Dr Myers for years. It's a nice clean office and the appointments have always been on time. No problem getting in. They even saw my 17 yr old son who got grass in his eye while my wife and I were out of town. I took my dad (who has severe dementia) in and they treated him with kindness and professionalism. Always a positive experience all around.

I only wished I would have found these Doctors sooner! A few years ago I was getting extreme headaches and doubled vision. I was very sick and did not know what was happening.. I went to the excel eye center and got the run around and was eventually sent up to the Moran eye center for more testing. After an MRI and countless visits it turned out it was just as simple as the medication I was taking that was causing swelling of my optic nerves. I switched over to the Riverwoods eye center for my annual eye exams and Dr. Myers gave me a better understanding of why I may have had that problem. He addresses it each time I see him and he makes me feel like he genuinely cares about my health. I never have to wait when I go to this office and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I have referred multiple friends and family members and they have raved how much they loved this office. I just wish that all my Docotors were this great!

Hands down the best Opthamologist in Utah. We moved a significant distance, and we still drive to see Dr. Myers. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. The office is beautiful and organized. The staff is helpful too. We will be patients for life!

I have been a patient of the Riverwoods Eye Center for 10 years. I lost my left eye in a shooting accident 22 years ago and because of this I've chosen my ophthalmologist very carefully. Dr. Myers has given me very thorough exams and has been great to squeeze me in for emergency appointments when I've had an infection or something in my eye.
I have also appreciated the care I've received when I've seen his partner, Dr. Ward. I felt like he was just as knowledgeable and concerned as Dr. Myers and it gave me peace of mind to know that if my regular doctor was unavailable, I was in good hands with his partner.response / report this review -

I have been coming here for over eight years and I have always had a great experience. The doctors are informative, the staff is helpful, and the office environment is neat and welcoming. I highly recommend Riverwoods Eye Center.

Dr. Ward seems to know what he is talking about. I agree with the prior reviewer about his staff and billing - a pain to work with. I paid him over $400 to cauterize my lower tear ducts (a 15 minute procedure), with him promising they would never open because he goes real deep. About 3.5 months later, the lower tear duct holes appeared to be open. I called and he said he wanted to take a look at them. I went in, he looked at me for less than 2 minutes and said they were still closed but sometimes the end of the holes do open up (could have told me over the phone that it is normal for the ends to open, but he would have lost $70). I thought that was the end of it. A few days later I get a bill for $70I called and they wouldn't budge on the $70 even though it was less than a 2 minute job. Very frustrating people to work with.
