Great campground. The drive to get too it is narrow. We have a small Fifth Wheel and meeting a car.going the opposite direction was difficult. It was perfect for a weekend getaway to ride the Virginia Creeper trail.

Very nice clean campground. The only drawback is you can fish but you can't eat your catch because of the high mercury content from pollution in the North Fork Holsten river.

Lovely setting along the river. Clean, family oriented. Most of the campers were seasonal regulars and were friendly and welcoming. The manager was wonderful to deal with.

Pleasant place to overnight with our trailer on the way to somewhere else. Seems lots of people keep campers here all summer and visit on weekends. Located low near river. Lots of rain means slightly flooded roads.

This is a great place for families. The river is great for kayaking and the campground has lots of family friendly activities. They have a game room, basket ball court, sand volley ball court and swimming pool. The bathrooms and showers are always clean. We always have such a great time at Riverside Campground and have been camping there for years.

We stayed during off season but right on the river. Vintage game room. Clean bathrooms, play ground, Pool, volleyball etc. Great family place. Pull through lots.

The on site owners are so nice. There are a lot of seasonals there but all were so nice. It's right on the river and the sound of it is relaxing. They are pet friendly. The only thing that I didn't like was a barking dog across and down the river.

Wonderful campground by the river. Friendly owners and staff. The "Roanoke Girls" will definitely return!
