5 stars! Robbie is the most amazing sales person they have. Such great service, I bet they were trained by the best! I would love to work there one day!!! 5 stars!!!
I love/hate buying a new car. The upside is finding and buying the right car.. lots of fun. I'm an internet shopper so typically I know the car I am looking at in terms of features and have studied numerous reviews. Salesmen in the past give me a canned pitch and highlight basic features that anyone knows about these days. Whatever car we are looking at is the one for me no matter what my real needs/desires are.
This week I helped my wife buy a used Ford Escape.
We did NOT get talked to like we were 18 and buying our first car. We did NOT get insulted with an outrageous first price.
We did get an intelligent approach of pluses and minus's for each of the three cars we looked at. Our salesman Homer Wilson was straight up with us and answered all of our questions to our satisfaction.
We bought the car we wanted at a very fair price and reasonable financing.
River City Ford is to be congratulated for updating their Dealership (looks amazing) and and their customer handling skills. They have always had the inventory and this has not changed.
Most importantly was the manner that Homer Wilson, our sales rep, put all of this pleasant experience together. Ask for Homer, you won't go wrong.
We had stopped at several different car lots before coming to River City Ford and no one would even come out and help us. As soon as we pulled in and got out of our vehicle Homer Wilson came out and introduced to his self and he was so helpful he showed us different cars until we found one that we wanted, he worked with us and I couldn't ask for a better salesman. I would recommend anybody go see Homer Wilson at River City Ford and he will treat you right and be there with you every step of the way. Thanks Homer, we love our Fusion.
From Frances Baker, I'm raising my 5 grandchildren, and put in application for credit, I was told by text that I was approved, and to bring my info, and I could get a 4x4 3rd row vehicle, the first man I talked to that sent me the text was Homer, when I called back and said I was coming, Homer was gone, so it was sent to Louie, who assured me I would be in a vehicle. After waiting for 2 hours, I finally made it in to Louie s office. I was there for all about 2 minutes, signed a paper, then he left to take it to another man he said for final approval, Excuse me? finally after awhile he came back, and said it would be a bit before I could talk to the other man, but informed me that my credit was only good enough for a Ford Escape, (NOT 3rd Row), He said it was all I could get and that I could trade up in about 6 months, needing the car at this point, ( I HAD SOLD MINE) I agreed to take it, then he brought it out front and I took it for a test drive. I agreed to take it. After waiting awhile longer, he finally came out of the other mans office, and said that My approval I had was kicked out from Mark Porter, where I had applied for credit,( I called Mark Porter They said that that was not true, and that all he had to do was call the bank, and that I was not approved through Mark Porter, who uses Santandra Bank, as well as most other dealers.) Louie said he would bring me the car today, I called this morning they said it was too early, and that they would call, By this time, MORNING IS GONE! I called back for them to tell me that i needed a cosigner, I gave them my boyfriend, and still have not heard back! It is now 1:15 and I have to get my kids off the school bus at 3;30 a mile away! My neighbors helped me yesterday to get there, and this morning to get the kids to school! Calling back now! 1:20pm. I was kept on the phone only for them to tell me they are working on it. 2pm I'm posting this review, if its not taken off, I will be going to the Better Business Bureau! I was outright lied too! Don't tell someone they are approved if they are not! 2:00 I called, was promised a call back, Crickets
Modern facility that appears to be well maintained and clean (very important to me). Roomy restrooms. Friendly staff and they seemed genuinely interested in helping me find the right car with the payment I could afford. My credit wasn't the best but I'm happy to be on my way to rebuilding it. Thank you River City Ford and especially Homer Wilson. I'll be back to trade in a couple of years.
