Dr. Grewal is the best vet in my opinion! Dr. Houska is great too! I've been seeing Dr. Grewal for years now and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Love the staff and Veterinarians. I've been taking my pets to Dr Houska for 36 years! Dr. Grewal is wonderful as well. Very knowledgeable.

I brought my Great Dane to see Dr. Sandeep Grewal on Monday and I was very concerned for her. She was not her normal jovial self and was acting extremely lethargic. I naturally started to panic as her blood line has a vast history of various forms of cancer. I was able to get in same day and at a time convenient for my work schedule! From the moment we arrived the staff was very welcoming, calming and showering Gemma with love.
We went into the room with the Tech and she got a detail history of Gemma and her current status. I went over all our worst fears, some minor things that really didn't matter and everything I could get her to write down. She was extremely calming for Gemma and did not increase stress at all.
When Dr. Sandeep Grewal, came in i was worried as Gemma tends to get defensive around new men, but he calmly walked to her and let her smell him and she was fine. He took about 30 minutes with us to hear all of our concerns, do a thorough physical exam. He had her do a few physical tests and she passed the first and failed the second. He told us he is confident it is a hip injury and because it came from nowhere he felt it was trauma or injury not a chronic problem. He said we "could" do x-rays but she would need to be sedated and we would have to make another appointment. he reiterated there were no signs of masses, tumors or cancer that he could see. I asked if he could still do blood work to make sure. he explained what they would do with a blood test and what would the cost be. My wife and I elected to do the blood test because of her history. Thank God all her blood work was normal. The Dr called himself the next day and took another 10 minutes to talk to me and ask how Gemma was doing. He showed genuine interest and concern for this member of our family.
The bottom line is Gemma got great care, the staff was amazing and no one tried to "force" me into paying for a test she didn't need. at no point in the visit were we made to feel like terrible pet owners because we weren't going to do something. Far too many times I have been to a vet and they are trying to get me to do expensive tests, shots, or procedures and when I ask what is the reasoning behind it, they cannot explain, or you get "its our office practice to" Sandeep Grewal, and the staff did what their job was and made me leave knowing they truly had Gemma's and my families best interests in mind. I would absolutely recommend this to ANYONE who needs a vet. Awesome job A++response / report this review -

Excellent Service. Friendly Staff. My great Dane "Jimmy" was in terrible pain due to his arthritis and other problems with is eyes and legs. I went to my regular doctor and he gave me some medication but that did not solve the problem. Then my friend recommended Ridgemont Animal Hospital. My dog is better than ever before and my daughter loves to be out and play with Jimmy. He no longer has any pain, no longer walks with a limp and the wound on his legs is completely healed. Would highly recommend this to all my friend's and family.
