We had a thoroughly enjoyable meal at the Ridge Inn. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We were even able to purchase firewood for our weekend camping trip. The steakhouse sandwich was delicious, as was the meatloaf. The server said they were famous for their donuts and for good reason. Easily filling a small plate, it was worth every bit.
The Ridge Inn has been a weekend favorite family treat since they first opened. Jo's recipes are delicious and we are always treated like family.
I'm a gluten free person and the food was delicious! I ordered the Greek wrap without the wrap and the Hippie Hash on the side which was wonderful! I love red quinoa. A small town gem. My husband had the Philly cheese steak and said it was delicious.
This was a spontaneous stop on our way back from hiking Rock House in Hocking Hills. We were a large group - four adults and eight children. They were able to accommodate us without difficulty at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The atmosphere was relaxed but charming and the service was excellent.
We sat outside, which I highly recommend. They have a beautiful garden outside and there were climbing vines all over the patio railing. The food was very good, offering typical American fare and some good variations on those but also including several healthier options including a black bean burger. Several choices for kids including fresh fruit. I had the cusabi chicken salad sandwich. We would definitely return the next time we're in the area.
Convenient location on the edge of the Hocking hills. Have eaten lunch here a few times over the past few years and have always been happy. The Philly steak sandwich is delicious. The Reuben could use a little more meat. Good cheesecake.
Two words. Hippy Hash. It's truly a culinary masterpiece and so I ordered two. The chicken salad sandwich was tasty as well along with another appetizer that I can't remember right now and I'll come back later to edit in. The decor reminds me of a cozy home and the deck is enormous with plenty of room for outdoor seating. Our waitress was cool and relaxed and I enjoyed every minute. Stop here for lunch on your way out of Hocking and you won't regret it
We came here because it had a high rating and we're not sure why. Our food was just okay, nothing special, and the service was awful. We shouldn't have to ask for menus several minutes after we sat down from the person who told us to sit anywhere. They probably have desserts but the waiter never asked us of we wanted any. We ended up getting ice cream in town instead. We won't be back.
Love this place! We ate breakfast here while visiting Hocking Hills. Their friendly laid back attitude was wonderful. We took advantage of the wifi while enjoying a delicious breakfast. Their home fries are delicious! And definitely get there fresh homemade donuts. The cinnamon glazed donut holes were amazing!!!!
Very nice place The fam and I stopped in for a bite, after a day of hiking and were not disappointed. Desserts were amazing. I had the soup and sandwich option which was very good. Indoor and outdoor seating. You should check it out!
For those staying in the hocking hills be sure to check this place out. Food was great as well as service. Our waitress was Brandy and she was very friendly and helpful.
Best donuts period. I believe all they have are donut holes or glazed. Either way, fresh out the oven, or reheated at home in the microwave for 10 seconds and they are to die for.
Bought a dozen to take to work with me and put them out in the brand-less white boxes. I had multiple co-workers ask where they were from because they were incredible.
This is a MUST STOP every time I'm in the area.
