SERVICE INFORMATION:
Ride-On Transportation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving transportation services in San Luis Obispo County, CA.
Started in 1993, Ride-On is comprised of the Consolidated Transportation Service Agency (CTSA) and the Transportation Management Association (TMA) for our county.
Ride-On CTSA provides door-to-door shuttle services for seniors, veterans, people with disabilities and social service agencies.
We have a fleet of over 90 vans, buses and wheelchair lift-equipped vehicles that provide over 299,000 rides every year.
MEDICAL SHUTTLE
We make it easy to get you to your medical appointment anywhere in SLO County. The price is dependant upon the city of origin and the destination city.
Our drivers pick you up at work, home or school and take you to your doctor’s office or hospital, and then give you a ride back.
We provide transporation for Medi-Cal and Cen-Cal recipients, also.
VETERANS SHUTTLE We are proud to offer transportation for veterans in SLO County from their homes to local veteran’s clinics. This service provides veterans with disabilities, or veterans who have no means of transportation, door-to-door service to the SLO or Santa Maria veteran’s clinics.
The cost is $3.00 each way and is subsidized by contributions from the community and Ride-On. Rides are limited to once a month due to current funding levels.
SENIOR SHUTTLE
We are dedicated to providing affordable transportation services for seniors 65 years and over. The Senior Shuttles serve different parts of San Luis Obispo County on specific days of the week.
All Senior Shuttles are door-to-door rides. Advanced reservations are recommended.
Ride-On Senior Shuttle operation, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm:
North County: Monday and Wednesday anywhere in the North County to SLO.
North Coast: Monday and Wednesday anywhere between Cambria and SLO.
San Luis Obispo: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday within the city of San Luis Obispo:
Five Cities Area: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday between the areas of Shell Beach, Pismo Beach, Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach, and Oceano.
South County: Tuesday and Thursday anywhere between Nipomo and San Luis Obispo.
