Herman and Moheeb did everything they could to get me the car I wanted along with all the things I wanted on it. They found me what I wanted and got it for the price I could afford. Everyone at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet was friendly and very helpful. I'd recommend them to everyone and I'd even go back for any future purchases.
The determination of Mr. Wheat (salesman) was incredible! He was able to find a vehicle that fit my price range and the style I wanted! I would like to thank Mr. Wheat for his efforts! Keep up the great job!
Always have received great service at a fair price. It is easy to schedule an appointment and drop off is hassle free. Car is always ready when promised and the communication is great. Thank you!
It was a delightful experience at the dealership. Started with the greeting we received while waiting for my salesman Tyler Sellers. The front receptionist is amazing. Sales manager did a great job overseeing my purchase and handling the processing. I must commend Tyler sellers for his top notch expertise in selling me the vehicle. I do highly recommend this dealership.
My sales rep Maily at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet was one of the best I've worked with since I've been on my vehicle search. She went above and beyond to get me into a vehicle. She wasn't a pushy sales person like most people are. She made me laugh she is very funny and down to earth and she really lighten up the mood. I've been to many car shops and they all told me no! They never did. She will do her best and when I say best I mean BEST TO GET YOU IN A VEHICLE! And the one you want! I rate them on a scale to 1-10 a 15!
After shopping around many other dealerships in the area trying to find the perfect car for my husband, I went in to the Norfolk office to simply gather some information. What encouraged me to purchase was Anthony's level of courtesy, professionalism, and attention to detail. There was no pressure to buy a car, there was simply the enjoyment of the experience. All of the staff at Rick Hendrick were pleasant, courteous, and the car buying experience, including credit and financing, was extremely efficient. I would recommend this dealership in particular above any other. Excellence all the way around!
Very helpful!! I recently purchased my first vehicle there... the staff was very helpful and comforted me through the process. Negotiable and reasonable. Joshua Lawrence in sales was exceptionally helpful. He's very understanding and personable, made my car buying process a breeze. Drove off the lot that day with a smile! They seem to really care about their clients!
Vitus and Anthony were both great. Very helpful, responsive, and courteous. I would recommend this dealership to all my friends and family. I am confident they will be treated as well as we were. The whole team was great as well. It takes quite a support staff to accomplish the sell and delivery of a vehicle. I know there were a lot of people behind the scenes that we might not have spoken to but are just as important to complete the transaction. Thank you all for your help and we look forward to doing business with you in the future.
The used trucks are overpriced as all hell! I went there twice. The first time I went with a friend and was looking at a crew cab Silverado for a good deal I set up an appointment and go in the next day. I get there and don't see the truck a bald white guy came out to help and said we only keep our trucks online for 3 days then take them down. I was pretty bummed, so he decided to show me other trucks but they were all out of my price range, overpriced and you can't haggle or deal with them on the price. He kept trying to pressure me into test driving one but all that's going to do is waste time, he asked literally 20 plus times. We go in the office and he's trying to get a bunch of info out of me like my email phone and home address and I'm not having it. I asked him for a card and said if I see a truck I'll call you. He said no, I'm not going to be playing phone tag with you I know how this works just fill out the info. I said no and got up and walked out. The salesman are snakes they're nice to you until you don't buy a truck from them. Second time I went with my wife and saw a 2008 4x4 Silverado with 120,000 miles for $22000 I'm like what?! So the salesman comes out and I ask can you come down on price and he says no. The whole he talking to me he's on his phone texting and says 3 words the whole time I left and went to tidewater II, they hooked me up over there in and out in an hour Tom Brown even stayed late to help me even though he was about to leave.
I told them I wanted an 8 year auto loan. They made calls and really worked with me to get the best interest rate. I really should have read over the paper work before I signed because I really got a 7 year loan. I didn't think to look over the paperwork because when we were signing the papers the guy said EIGHT years and we went over everything verbally. If you go there read over the paper work to make sure they don't screw your loan up. Unless they did it on purpose hoping I wouldn't catch it. Other than that they were very helpful and nice and gave me a good deal on the vehicle and my trade in.
Updated review. The dealership customer service has significantly fallen apart of the last 6-8 months. No one answer the phone in the service department, they don't call back after leaving a message, and the service lady tried to argue with me over what is wrong with my truck (I've been building cars for 4 years). Additionally, they used to have loaners but didn't want to seem to help me out at all last time. How Do they not understand that people have to get back to work and don't have time to sit at a dealership all day.
Do not waste your time by using the dealership for ANYTHING!!!! Purchased a 2015 Suburban from here-was called 3 weeks after owning the vehicle to tell me they need me to put down $4k cash. Ummm, it's been weeks, why now? The salesmans response "this is the 3rd one this week, this has happened to"
I ended up trading the suburban for a 2015 Tahoe.
The service department is the WORST!!!!!!!! Order parts under warranty for your vehicle and then tell you-oh we fixed the old one, so we didn't have to put on the new one! NEGATIVE!! So what you can sell the new one you ordered for my vehicle to turn yet another profit?! Wrong again!!!! You install the part that was ordered under warranty for my vehicle as planned. It was like pulling teeth with these people! Call to schedule an oil change & recall service.
"We don't provide loaners for this particular
service"
"We provide a shuttle, but only one way"
"We won't work with you on an available time that works for you is pretty much the response I got"
Purchase a $60k vehicle from them and get nothing but a headache!!!!
The staff here is utterly rude and unprofessional! Considering the reviews J have read recently-they should have plenty of available appointments! Do not use this dealership!!!
I looked at several vehicles online, using several websites and search engines.
When I found THE ONE, I went to Rick Hendrick Chevrolet, and talked to the first sales person I saw. It happened to be one of the (or the best) sales people at that dealership.
(And probably a good radius, judging by all the awards I saw around his desk!)
He took me right to the vehicle I asked for, had me test-drive it, and had me on my way much faster than expected. I paid the advertised price which was very low. And to boot, the vehicle has a 3 month, 3000 mile power train warranty that covers 100% parts and labor!
It's very common for that type of warranty to cover only 50% at many other dealerships.
