Heather Hill is an amazing Funeral Director. At my darkest moment, she not only guided me through the process, she became my friend 💗 She went above and beyond to help me and I couldn't be more grateful to her. I highly recommend her! I honestly don't know what I would of done without Heather's knowledge, her guidance, her compassion and most of all her support. She is a genuine person and one you can fully trust throughout your very hard journey 💗 What a gift she is and she is doing exactly what she was put here to do.

Heather and the entire Renaissance Funeral Home staff are compassionate professionals. From the pre-planning stages through to follow-up after the service, our family was made to feel welcome and cared for. They go above and beyond in every step to provide the exact services that you desire for your loved one. In pre-planning, they listened and aided in every wish that my mother had. Their notes were detailed, so Mom's preparation and service included everything discussed. Every staff member exhibited a level of compassion that showed this was not just a routine job to them, they respect and understand the levels of emotion and grief that the family is going through and offer a caring, supportive attitude in all steps.

If looking for a green burial as my mother was, this is the funeral home to consult. They are experts in the area of green burial. They offer this not as "a cheap option," but to honor your deceased love one's burial wishes. With their extensive network of service providers, Heather was able to assist with every aspect of Mom's service, truly making the remaining service planning seamless at a difficult time. And, for the budget conscious, yes, it was all at a fair and reasonable price.

I didn't think it was possible to be wowed by excellent customer service during a time of such grief, but Renaissance did it. Our family will forever be grateful for helping us to honor Mom's last wishes.

Wonderful, compassionate, kind, organized, local and affordable. These words describe the whole Funeral Home. Renaissance Funeral Home & Cremation is one of the very best. The level of sensitivity, and options are without a comparison. They will work with you on whatever is best for the family. You can count on Renaissance doing exactly what they say the will do. Ask Heather about her next monthly "cafe" discussions and participate, I did and found it to be innovative, necessary and informative.

I would recommend Renaissance to anyone - they are fantastic!

We have been dealing with Renaissance Funeral Home for over a year and a half due to investigative issues. I can't express how wonderful the staff has been in dealing with a traumatic death, an extended family and an unresolved cause of death. Heather Hill, the professional who dealt with our family, is amazing. She instantly picked up on the family dynamics and kept us informed as to what was going on. We have finally resolved our issues and will continue to spread the word on how compassionate, thoughtful and efficient Renaissance Funeral Home staff has been.

Heather Hill and her colleagues were so accommodating and easy to work with during the planning of my dad's funeral. Once my dad knew his time was short, he decided to plan his own funeral so we wouldn't have to, therefore he was regularly calling Heather or showing up to the funeral home to review things AGAIN, not once did Heather become annoyed or frustrated but actually became a friend to my dad and eventually our family. In fact, my dad even thanked her during his service ... sounds strange I know, but he had prerecorded a few video messages to have played during his service (some serious and some humorous). Heather took time out of her day and used her own equipment to assist him with this and he was ever so grateful for her assistance. If Heather wasn't available (which only happened once) Mark stepped in and didn't miss a beat. My dad's service although unique and untraditional went off exactly as my dad had envisioned and for that we will be ever grateful.

I never write reviews but feel it's critical to share the most horrendous experience anyone should have to deal with during a time of loss. We went to Renaissance because my mom thought it was nice -- never be fooled by looks. Our planning session entailed them telling us to take out the price list then us leading the conversation because the person we worked with seemed incompetent. We were also under a deadline and brought a hard copy of the obituary to edit -- we were told we wouldn't make the deadline because the person didn't type! After all of the time planning, they informed us that we had to pay the bill IN FULL before they would do the service. After checking around and calling an attorney, we were informed that is unheard of to request payment in full -- all funeral homes know that the funeral is paid out of the estate! But not Renaissance -- we had to pay IN FULL. So, if you want to go there -- I hope you are rich or have a very large credit card. After the service, we were thanking our friends and family and I was requested to leave my family and friends because they needed me to pay the obituary bill right then -- you are kidding me, could that not have waited a day or two. I was completely infuriated, very upset during this time of loss, and will never recommend them and I will go out of my way to make sure everyone hears about this.

Our family recently experienced the tragic and sudden loss of our daughter due to a car accident. Heather at Renaissance was so reassuring and walked us through this difficult experience with ease. They made planning the service easy, answered all of our questions promptly, made several special accommodations for us, and most importantly, provided a caring environment for us to grieve. I cannot recommend them enough. No one ever wants to be in the situation to need a funeral home, but when you do Renaissance is this place you should call.

Our experience with Renaissance Funeral Home was on-point, in all aspects. My family worked with Heather Hill, who was genuine and sincere, and worked to ensure that everything went smoothly. She was consistently professional and courteous, while still earnestly compassionate for our family. Our questions were answered directly, and her assistance in navigating the veteran aspect of the service was excellent. I would strongly recommend Renaissance Funeral Home to anyone having to work through this difficult process.
