Reid's has that mom and pop feel. They have items that I have not seen in years. Their prices are cheaper than Wal-Mart and food lion. This is one place you will need to visit.

This is one of the best grocery stores to go to, everyone shops here! They have reasonable prices and my family loves the meats they have there!

Hidden gem. Appreciate it for what it is and accept what it isn't, and you will look forward to visiting whenever you are in the area and need to grab a few ingredients.

I love going to Reid's. I consider it my local market right here downtown. Their produce is quite lovely and they have organics here and there in the store. Milk, yogurt, coffee are three I remember off the top of my head. They have a good local bulletin board .. which are few and far between nowadays .. and I always appreciate them. They also have a video rental machine .. perhaps the only one downtown? I like the people who work there .. always present and straight forward and kind, without any frills. Love that. This past week I noticed they habe just a few options of fresh gluten free things .. loaves of bread, cookies, scones. I bought the bread and out wad surprisingly good. The cashier who helped me said the gluten free stuff it was all selling very well so they would surely keep having it. Yeah!

This place has the best beer selection in town, outside of Beer Run. They also have local breweries that do tastings some afternoons. Their butcher is also top notch.
