Yes it's one of the few places in Austin that shows indie flicks but it's a very old theater. The screen, projector, and sound system is extremely outdated. The seats are showing their age and the arrangement allows one to see the back of people's heads too easily. It's a shame a city like Austin doesn't have a better experience for indie films. I really wish they would renovate. I only come here if no one else close by is showing a particular film.

I love that they generally have indie/art house movies as opposed to popular block busters. However, on most occasions, usually on a weekday afternoon, people rudely talk throughout the movie. I've changed seats to get away from conversations that go on intermittently during the entire movie. It's so distracting, and has ruined several movie experiences for me. Maybe management could keep a closer eye on this and help reduce this aggravation. Other than that, I enjoy the variety of movies shown there.

I just moved to the Cedar Park area and I’ve been to 4 theatres and this one was the worst one. The screen is smaller. The auditorium seating is outdated. Concessions is over priced. Tickets are especially overpriced. The only reason it gets one star is because it sometimes gets the movies I want to see a week early. However, now I’ve been here, I’d rather wait a week or drive a few extra miles to see any movie elsewhere.

Love this theater! The movie selection is the best! They could turn down the air conditioning a little though.

This is one of the best places to watch independent films that can't be found at the local cineplex. The seats are a bit uncomfortable compared to all the new theaters. The location is great with ample parking compared to the other theater downtown that shows similar films.

I go to Regal about once a week! The movies are great, as well as every person who works there! But I was disappointed when I got back in the country recently and saw that the tickets had gone up to over $9. (It's putting a strain on my Jr Mint budget!) I'm a Senior and that's putting a crunch on my afternoon movie delight. I'm looking around at prices around town now. I can't help but think more people would come if prices were better!

Both my daughters worked at the Regal as teenagers, so it's kind of a family affair! Thanks for the tradition!

Good lineup of films. Movie start times work well with my schedule. Only complaint is the that the seats could be cleaner and more comfortable.

The theater was well maintained and although it doesn't have the largest auditoriums, they are great for an art house theater.

Concessions were properly staffed and the popcorn was above par. We will definitely be going back.

Very nice staff here and comfortable accomodations. I liked the original theater experience. Unlike the fancy chains that have those reclining seats!

Seems a bit like an older movie theater and yet it was a nice experience. My girlfriend and I went in the evening and walked all around the Arboretum later so it was a perfect spot in general.

Good independent films, nice seating. They are(or maybe were) able to serve beer and wine. Adequate parking. Easy to get to from the highway.

Classy & Arty films. Also non-amerikan film from overseas @ times. No bucket seats yet that recline. Places to eat near by... Good gem of cinema in ATX!

I have been to this theater many times and been very satisfied. Last night however, we went to a 9:50p movie and the concession staff was less than congenial. They were obviously ready to go home and not centered on customer needs. I came out at 10:30 to purchase additional items and the guy behind the counter said to me, "We are closed!" Unacceptable.

POOR PROJECTION QUALITY: We saw Moonlight at the Arbor on 11-6-16. It was difficult to view the film because the projector light was so low. We complained to staff who said there was nothing they could do. The following Friday we again saw the film at the Violet Crown Cinema where the light quality was excellent and we enjoyed the film. Theater companies are saving money by using lower wattage projection bulbs. This will cost them patrons.

Best theater in Austin, by far. They show great films and treat their customers like grownups. They don't reprimand them as if they were children, the way the Drafthouse chain does.
