We broke up the 6 hour drive to Tampa with a stop at Reed Bingham State Park. It has a great nature trail with boardwalks that follow the river.

We had a little picnic and let our toddler play on the playground before we started hiking. The hike was just what he needed to wear him down for a good nap in the car as we continued our trek south!

Enjoyed camping at this state park. We were surprised that some sites include full RV service. No Wi-Fi available as this is a state park. Verizon phones were able to maintain a 4g signal. DirecTV (free standing satellite) had no issue. Campground and roads are big rig friendly and site have some distance between them for privacy. Boat ramp, fishing, beach, mini golf, large picnic areas and hiking trails were available. Caution to those sites under the trees; very damp and lots of foliage drops on your RV. Truck and RV needed MUCH cleaning to get rid of foliage (leaves) and pods which stained the truck and RV. We would never park under these trees again. Campground is about a 15 min drive from freeway, fast food, grocery and gas stations.

Our family is currently traveling this beautiful country via RV style, and have been RV'ing for many years. Therefore, we have an idea between high-standard qualities and poor quality. We utilize Trip Advisor and Google to assist us on locating top attractions, tasty restaurants and exciting locations within our wonderful country. Showed up escaping Irma. Staff was completely prepared for the overflow and made us feel so welcome. Camped overlooking the water. Had three dogs in tow including a Great Dane. Loved the hikes! Everything is well cared for and the facilities are super clean. Want to return when not running from a hurricane!

The place is a hidden treasure. Putt putt, water cycles, playground, camping, bike rentals it has it all and it is hidden quiet and spacious. Beautiful and enjoyable. Not gardtowaste a day easily here without getting bored. Affordable and great staff and very clean. We loved it. Great place.

We (family+dog) love spending time at Reed Bingham. The hiking trails are fairly well maintained and varied enough to not get boring. Unfortunately they allow PWCs and power boats to motor up the river which really breaks up an otherwise serene hike.

Small and outdated. Playgrounds need to be upgraded and expanded. The swimming area needs a slide. This place has potential but needs more tax funds from the state. I'll spend an extra ten dollars and just go to Florida instead.

The water was so nasty we saw dead fish floating in the water, so we quickly got out and then realized that we were covered in some kind of brown algae it stuck to all the hairs on our body!!! We were quite traumatized by the whole experience.

I love this park. There are lots of trees around to hang hammocks from, plenty of picnic areas with benches and grills and even a few with shelters over them. The lake offers lots fun including water vehicles, swimming, and fishing either by boat or via a few docks setup around the park. There are even a few fishing areas along the river that you can access by walking the Little River Trail which is along a long wooden bridge through the swampy wooded areas along the lake.

There are quite a few shelters all along the park, plenty of restrooms, there is a shower setup just beside the beach to clean your self off. You can play Put-Put and beach volleyball, and there is a nice playground as well. There is also a nice RV / Camping area inside the park.

And for those that play Pokemon Go, the whole park is a really nice nest. The nesting pokemon spawns multiple at every pokestop in the park and several out in the wild.

I love this park! I enjoy peaceful walks through the campground and to the lake. The camp hosts are always on the ball, courteous and mindful. Clean bathouses!

Fantastic state park to spend a night or two (or more), especially during the week. Weather was perfect in April. Pleasant hiking trails, nice cycling. Beautiful lake / river for kayaking.
