I went to Redi-Med with a broken ankle and was very happy with the care I received and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. The wait is a little long and it's pretty expensive, but since I just walked in off the street without an appointment, I expected that.
Staff was friendly and thorough. We registered online prior to coming in and waited less than 10 minutes to be seen. I was extremely impressed with how they treated my under the weather 7 yr old. He received exceptional care.
**WARNING**
I checked in online and arrived within the 20-30 minute waiting time, nobody in the waiting room and still waited 20-30 minutes (no big deal). Front desk lady asks me if I am allergic to anything, my reply was-- yes a certain antibiotic, so she types it in on the system. Nurse takes me back to the room and proceeds to ask me again are you allergic to anything, my reply again is-- yes, a certain antibiotic. Dr finally comes in and after a few minutes diagnoses me with a common cold, WHAT?? So I proceeded to tell her that I have had a swollen throat (barely able to swallow), upper and lower respiratory congestion and coughing non-stop with little to no sleep for a week. So now she wants to do a quick strep test (the lady doing it not so gentle, jabbing the back of my swollen throat). Dr comes back and says it was negative. She then prescribes me nasal spray, a cough suppressant and some antibiotics that she dates for 5 DAYS AFTER MY VISIT TO FILL?? So the next lady comes in to give me my written prescription and sure enough it was for the antibiotic that I am allergic to!!! After correcting the young lady, she came back with a new prescription. After waiting the 5 days I went to drop the prescription off and the pharmacist asked if I was allergic to anything and I replied the same as the previous 3x at the Dr He replied he could not fill the prescription without talking to the Dr due to it being the same thing as the the one that I am allergic to, they called and finally got it switched again. So BEWARE if this is your choice of a medical professional!!! $250, almost poisoned 2x and a week later I got my antibiotics.
If you are bleeding out, head up the road another minute or so. Pull into Taco Bell, and order yourself some kind of budget burrito(the beefy five layer has gone up in price, but it's still a good option), ask for it grilled, and MAKE SURE you ask for potatoes in the burrito. It's a great bang for your buck deal. Also, treat yourself to a Baja Blast. If you get there during their Happy Hour promotion, all the better. No need to go bigger than a large, unless you're with someone and sharing. I get it that you're dying, but a large is just an unnecessary amount of Mountain Dew. Make sure that during this time you are keeping pressure on the wound. After you pay and receive your food, politely ask if you can use one of the grilling machines. It may take some convincing, but your crimson red tee shirt at this point might just do the trick. Make sure that griller is heated up, then stick that wound in there and attempt to cauterize it. This will hurt, so enjoy some of that sweet sweet nectar that is Baja Blast to take your mind off of it. Leave the portion of your body in there for a sufficient amount of time to stop the bleeding, offer to clean the surface as a sign of gratitude, and make your way out. Make sure you stop and get some fire sauce for the burrito, and ring the bell if you got good service! At this point, dive into the burrito if you are still conscious to make sure you get some calories in you after this exhausting journey. Adrenaline will still be pumping, but control your breathing and it should be fine.
All this is to say, you will likely receive better medical treatment from a fast food chain. Stay away from here. Seriously.
I arrived and was promptly checked in and only had to wait less than 10 minutes to be seen .the front desk ladies, the nurse and the np who done my physical were all awesome two thumbs up and five stars for this clinicthanks everyone for your great service
Long wait - several tests - told "it's a cold." A $200 cold. Appears to be Dr's fresh out of med school who can't find jobs elsewhere for a reason. Will not go back.
Went in with a reaction, redness from something! After the nurse/aide did my weight. I told her that my sugar was dropping. She,said she would say something to the Dr. Well apparently they thought that wasn't nothing to be concerned about. Once the Dr came in. I showed her the redness , itchiness going on my neck, arms. She blatantly Said she couldnt see anything!! So I'm like I know somethings wrong. She still looked at me like I do not see anything!!! At this point I could not believe I was hearing hear say that the redness, itchiness burning skin wasn't not there. SHE SEES NOTHING!!! I walked out of the room and said I'll go to the ER where the itchy, burning, red skin you apparently can't see will be Seen from a real Dr that see's the most obvious!!! Came to ER and clearly they seen there was something Going on!!! CLEARLY!!! WILL NOT EVER go to this place again!! First and last time!! I gave this place a one star which in fact that's even too high!!!!
Don't even bother.
have not been there but they are so rude on the phone. called to ask how much a visit is she told me i said okay thank you she said " mhm" and hung up the phone. rude rude rude. no thanks would rather go to the ER
Paid $30 to be told they can't really help me.
It has to be the slowest business i have ever been to. Not enough staff for sure.Expect to wait 3 to 4 hours. Staff pleasant just dont have enough help. Not Redi for sure!
The staff seemed pretty nice BUT I had lab testing done on a Sunday and said they would have results in a couple days and it is Friday and haven't heard a word. The one time I called she said they didn't have time to look or check for me. I've went to another doctor since then and they had the results the next day. It doesn't seem very professional to not follow up with your patients especially when they are in pain and waiting to hear from you.
