We love Red Stripe. The food is always good and the cocktails are excellent. Good atmosphere with tasty bread and courteous waitstaff.

Great food, friendly service. Nice classic offerings with a twist. The waitstaff offer the specials but also offer suggestions they might add to them. The special drink for the night was suggested with an addition by the waiter to cater to personal taste. Huge selection of mussels in a variety of delicious broths.

I eat here on my birthday, mother's day and if my friend from Connecticut comes up tomorrow. I recommend it to my friends and my Airbnb guests. The food is great, atmosphere is upbeat and pleasant and service is attentive without hovering. I love this place!

Great seafood and burgers. I had the lobster role without the bun served on a bed of lettuce with green salad and coke slaw. Perfect! Huge pieces of fresh lobster lightly mixed with celery and mayo.

usually good food and service however, and this may be me, they brought both my appetizer (salad) and dinner at the same time. which meant my dinner got cold whole I ate my salad and u had to sit at a crowded bar with two plates kind of ruined the experience

Great food with generous portions. Casual atmosphere that also has great ambiance They have sidewalk cafe tables available for a more quaint experience. Friendly service and well-made drinks. Seems like anything I have there is expertly prepared with fresh ingredients.

Thought I would plan a perfect Mothers Day brunch with a stop at this place which had some good reviews. What a mistake since the entire meal start to finish took over 2 and half hours due to poor service and slow waitstaff and cooks. I had high hopes for this place only to be let down by literally clueless staff. From the slow response at the hostess station containing not one but two clueless hostesses taking over 15 minutes to seat reservations to the 15 minutes to be even noticed at our seats and then the over hour and a half to actually be served the meal which was cold by the time we got it. We were so hungry by that point, we scoffed the food down and got the heck out of there. Food was mediocre at best what I could taste from it and I cannot believe this place has the good reviews it has. It sits beyond Brown University close to Thayer Street and is a lot larger inside than it looks and is typical brasserie decor, tiled floor etc. Pretty noisy place and this Mothers Day there had to be 15 servers milling around which did not amount to much of fast service since the kitchen, which was completely visible looked like it was in a state of chaos. If this is what brunch is like, I would hate to see this place at a dinner rush. My advice, steer clear of this place unless you have lot of time on your hands to wait around for your meal. What a mess of an innocent brunch for 4 people!

Very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Great food. I had mussels, clam chowder, meatball (14oz) and all were excellent. I also had the cod tacos which were too small (tiny) and just okay tasting. My only real complaint would be that in the back, where I sat, it was noisy. Hard surfaces all around bounce the sound up and down.
