Wonderful views. Great food. Reasonable prices. Large portions. I went with a group for lunch. Some of us wanted to share entrees and the kitchen split them for us. Staff very accommodating. A short walk to the Metro North Irvington train station .

It was packed on the Saturday night when we went here. Lucky we had reservations. The food was mediocre, friendly staff, good service. Pricey for what you get. It's not Manhattan, but they are priced lije it is. Very pretty setting directly on the Hudson River. If the evening is comfortable, eat outside.

I thought this place was just another bistro type bar. I was very wrong. One of the best meals I've had in Westchester county. Good, well trained staff, attentive, food that arrived hot and perfectly cooked, wide range of choices on the menu, this on a busy week end night. A bit too loud, but upstairs was more quiet and you could still see the river.

My wife and I visited your restaurant for dinner last night and were terribly disappointed. The food was fine; the service was terrible. I’ve never felt quite so rushed by a wait staff in recent memory.

We ordered drinks (a wine and a cocktail). We were served our drinks and the waiter took our dinner order. We declined an appetizer and ordered two entrees off the menu. Before we had a chance to enjoy more than a sip of our drinks, our entrees arrived. No rolls & butter. Just our meals plopped on the table. I don’t exaggerate when I said the food was served faster than McDonald’s and with just about as much care. Your wait staff should have been taught that service and presentation are just as important as the food they serve.

Now, I understand that many patrons complain about service that’s too slow. But I would have liked to have spent a few minutes talking to my wife over drinks before digging into the main course. Was this the waiter’s way of telling us that, if we wanted a relaxing meal, we should have ordered appetizers? It was particularly annoying to see other tables attended by wait staff serving rolls and butter while we were ignored.

Maybe the problem was that our waiter was ending a shift and he wanted to squeeze in another sale before he left. Because when were ready to go, he was nowhere to be seen. After a miserable experience, all I wanted to do was to get my check, pay it and leave. We waited an inordinate amount of time while another member of your staff got us the check and we were able to leave.

Came on a wed night and everything was amazing. Got seated right away, didn't have to wait. The service was great, very attentive and the food came out very promptly. Every thug was very good, the swordfish was cooked perfectly. And the desert key lime pie was fantastic. Overall would recommend to friends and would definitely come back.

Limited outdoor seating. Long wait even with reservations.
Great location for dinning outdoors. Good service once seated. Average food. Expensive drinks. Recommend bloody Mary.

Wow. Such a special place. Went for a rehearsal dinner and Red Hat nailed it. Service was not only thorough and readily available but also so nice and easy going.

The venue itself was beautiful. We arrived at sunset and caught the sun setting as Manhattan skyline slowly lit up. Great photo ops from restaurant patio.

    Definitively recommend!

I have eaten here about a dozen times and used to look at the menu. I don't look at the menu anymore I just order the best Pork Chops on the planet. The sauce and sides are perfect also. If you are with a party of four or more order the mussels dinner as a table appy (wonderful), make sure you ask for extra rolls (good rolls) to dip in the sauce. The atmosphere is great. not only are you right on the Hudson but you get great sunsets over the Mountain and a view of NYC to your south. Our favorite restaurant, PERIOD!!!! People who rated less then 3 stars just cant be pleased. If it is going to be your first visit I promise you it will be outstanding. Ask for a table downstairs when making reservations.

We are a long time customer. Great scenery. Best time to be is 2 hours before sunset. Foods and dessert used to be better and the price used to be a lot lower. The best part, they served dessert with dinner fork now. :(

Best place to be are either on the roof deck or patio outside.

Place is lovely and atmosphere wonderful. Hostess very welcoming and accommodating, however, the service was not good. The waitress kept forgetting about us. Had to ask the busboys to find her, get our drinks, bring bread, etc. Unless you like your steaks rare do not order one as the Chef apparently refuses to cook your steak to your liking. Had to send it back twice and both times it came back just as rare as when it first was served to us. Food is mediocre. Would suggest going for drinks and sandwiches when you can sit outside.
