Paul is the best in the business, hands down! He is extremely professional, very responsive and has tremendous integrity in doing things the right way. Because we are from CA, we relied on Google reviews to choose the right Inspector for a prospective home purchase in Aiken, SC. Paul Hurst's 100% 5-star review gave us the confidence we needed to hire him to go through the house with a fine-tooth comb. Mr. Hurst's skills, knowledge, and application of sophisticated technology enabled him to examine every aspect of the home revealing major and extensive structural damage that was not known or seen by the Sellers or Realtors🤔🤨. In a very lengthy and detailed report, Mr. Hurst documented the numerous issues, safety concerns, code violations, and made recommendations🤑. During the inspection, Mr. Hurst shared his concerns and offered us a refund on the garage portion of the inspection (We suggested a credit toward a future inspection🙂). Although it felt sickening at the time to get a "Reality Check" on the house we fell in love with, Paul Hurst saved us tens of thousands of dollars and a lot of heartache had we followed through with the purchase. If you Need a Home inspection I recommend calling Reality check home inspection. Very thorough. All findings detailed with explanation and recommendations to resolve any issue.
