I went to this dealership today to see if they could help me a lower my monthly payment. I am in bankruptcy which makes it harder, but that doesn’t mean you should take advantage of people who are struggling and try to rip them off. I took my car up there to get an appraisal and they came back 12 thousand dollars less than my payoff. I wasn’t expecting them to pay my car off, but 12,000 was a real hit. I have a 2015 Corvette String and blue book on this car is $36,000 and it is in great shape, little dirty, but that’s all. When I ask why they feel it’s worth 12,000 less than Kelly book all they said was “it needs a lot of work”. 2015 car that needs a lot of work, hmm I thought. No ding, no starches, maintenance always kept up, again little dirty but that’s it. When I ask what kind of work, all they could say was it needed new tires. I told them that the tires were less than a year old and had the receipt, but it didn’t make a difference. All I can say is AVOID this place at all cost. There are so many honest dealerships out there that will treat you fairly and not try to rip you off, this is not one of them. On a side note, they were nice about trying to rip me off.
Please don't insult me by saying that you offered me a FAIR market value for my car. Kelly Blue is a fair market value and you were not even close. I have in my hand a closer attempt at what I would call fair market vale and it 6K more than you offer. So how can you said you offered me a fair market value. You guys are shading and I for one will never do busy with any of your companies.response / report this review -

Got my car lifted and got new Rough Country wheels and tires put on at the Avon store. The service was phenomenal and the car looks great! I suggest coming here if you need to get a car lifted, new wheels and tires, or a new car in general I suggest coming here. The people are very nice and I believe that the pricing was fair for what I was getting.
(Important: They sell Rough Country lifts, wheels, and Tires do not expect to get any new wheels and tires put on there.)response / report this review -

for everybody who visit this car dealer be carefull because the are not professional and trying to rip you off the money we tried to buy a nice car gmc over there we had a agreement on car whit the price whit tax and all the fees and the did not sign for that and on the last papers we what we trye to sign to come up whit that we tax and fees need to pay for that car we asked that the show us the paper where he wrote everything down for that price agreement he says we lost it this happend 2 times we spent 6 houres there and did not get the car the are playing smart and the don't have any respect for the deal what we both made please be care because the are fooling you to pay more I am from europe but I am not that stupid to get fooled be carefull people because the seem nice but the only care that the make money and fool you to pay more no professional work never going back there

I was told I needed a new transmission for my 2009 Santa fe for 3500 dollars. I got a second opinion and the transmission was fine and the repair was around 600 dollars. I am very upset with any ray skillman dealship. They tried to rip me off, and they do not deserve even one star.

I'm so happy I took the 2 hour drive to buy my vehicle, I was assured from the start that what I needed would be met, and it was. Literally during my quick processing meeting I went to the restroom and came back and when I sat down the car in the lobby behind me was gone and sold! This dealership is definitely doing exactly what their buyers expect and covering every angle. They took the time to see exactly what I needed in my daily life. Miracles do come true with this company. I am definitely a lifer.

Bought a used truck here. Not the most pleasant place. Still feel that I was pushed in to this purchase. Than it took almost a month to get everything finalized. I understand that it is their job to sell you the car but all I wanted at the time is to get my car looked at so they can give me a fair price.

Just moving here from Maine! What an experience it's been to find a car, it's not easy going from place to pace. But when my eyes laid upon a car here I just had to stop by. It must have been MY timing. Thank you so much Bim Akin for you help. You were a real treat and very helpful! Now I'm in a Chrysler 200 and traded in my older car! What a real treat for me! I can't thank this staff enough Bryan,Dave as well as everyone else. You all made it ALL possible for me. This company is def. the way to go they are very friendly and they will have you in your car that you want before you know it! Thanks again Ray Skillman staff!😀

Another great experience at a Ray Skillman dealership. Our family has been buying cars from different Ray Skillman locations for over 20 years and their new store in Avon met and exceeded all of the expectations we have grown to have of buying from the Skillman organization.
