Horrible counsel. Drug out court case as long as possible, forced client to hire G.A.L.(Guardian Ad Litem ) that did absolutely nothing for the child in question but charge bills for services that were never even rendered. Just another garbage lawyer that will get nothing done for a child that needs help but will happily take your money. Scared of Chicago lawyers, even the bad ones. Do not hire unless you have a local case with a terrible opposing counsel.

I want to give thanks and acknowledgement to Attorney Ray for helping me get through a very difficult time in my life. I originally hired a different Attorney, who kept delaying the process of my Divorce. She left me extremely frustrated and overwhelmed. I, then, hired Don Ray to expedite the process of my Divorce and he didn't disappoint. He is knowledgeable, dependable, reliable, direct, and to the point. He was thorough in explaining the navigation of the Court System and also the proper steps to take in finalizing the divorce (something I had no knowledge of). He returned my emails promptly, and directly answered my questions and concerns. His fees were very reasonable and manageable and I was never overcharged. Thanku again, Don, for easing my stress and anxiety throughout the Divorce Process. I'm truly grateful for you.

I needed Atty Ray's help to prevent my ex wife from taking advantage of not documenting all the pluses and minuses ($) we agreed upon for the (6) years after my divorce. After agreeing to the original minuses I owed her
(That's why she took me back to court), Atty Ray detailed the pluses that she owed me and we ended up in a wash. He was very helpful in legally explaining that to her. He kept me on track during some heated topics and brought me the legal help I needed.response / report this review -

Attorney Ray handled a complicated multi-state custody case for me recently. He is extremely detail oriented and noticed everything. He often told me the Devils in the details , and nothing went unnoticed by him. Communicating with him was made easy with his knowledge of modern technology and he always got back to me in a timely manner. Often even on weekends. If your looking for experience, good communication, fair billing, and a fighter for your best interests I would recommend attorney Ray. The best thing about going with Attorney Ray is that I didn't have to go against him . My kids are out of harms way and I couldn't have done it without him !

As a former client of Donald Ray it was important to me to have legal representation that would fight for me and my children and have my back in the complicated arena of family and divorce court.
