Very nice stay. We were here 3 nights in our pull-behind camper. It was quiet, the store was well stocked, and the pancakes were excellent! It is close to a large grocery store and an Ace Hardware. Staff were very helpful and supportive as we worked through a maintenance issue with our vehicle.
The park was in immaculate condition and the employees were great to interact. All amenities were clean, and the pool was a nice place to cool down after a hot day. I would highly recommend this park for a stay over if visiting the black hills and close to all the tourist activities in the area. The cabins are great place to stay at.
The campground was clean and had a great pool. The staff was friendly & helpful. I absolutely loved the all you can eat pancake breakfast they served every morning. It was so nice to be able to quick grab breakfast and then head out to the days adventurer's! We have stayed at many KOA’s and I would rate Rapid City as one of the best!
We were a little hesitant about staying here after reading some of the reviews but we had a wonderful stay. We stayed for 6 nights in a cabin and the entire staff was nothing but helpful and polite never discriminated against us for being a Native American family. They sent a reminder the day before saying please no early check in's which was no problem. People need to realize they need time to clean and get ready to make your stay welcoming also. We spent most of our time between the pool and playgrounds; all were very well taken care of and clean. We would definitely stay here again!
Very nice store. Nice pool and nice shady picnic tables. The power poles didn't have 110 plugs though and I had to purchase an adapter. That sucked rocks. Which means I can't do my laundry system on laundry day. Nice amenities though, like pancake breakfasts and watermelon feed. But we were only there 1 night and too tired to participate. That power thing would be why I don't stay there again. Unless they have other spots that provide both.
