While they sell licenses and all kinds of fishing gear, they specialize in FLY FISHING. To that end, they have everything you may need. I think they even have FF lessons? If you're familiar with the sport, you know that up-to-date local knowledge is EVERYTHING. If you're just rolling into town to FF, this is a must-do stop! The owners know what they are doing and will do their best to put you on to some fish.

Great assortment of outdoor gear at a reasonable price. Good quality merchandise. All this in a limited space. The people are very knowledgeable about their merchandise and share their knowledge of fish and game in the area. They are also very pleasant.

Great fly shop! Seriously one of the best in New England. Friendly staff. Great gear. Top notch selection of very high quality flies, many of which are tied by shop owners and staff or local tiers. They've also got any gear you may need to fill out your kit or replace something you lost in the river. If you go to Rangeley to fly fish and don't stop in and put a few new flies in your box or get the latest report your missing out.
