This was my second stay at Ramsey Canyon Inn. The setting is so peaceful and beautiful. There must have been 40 turkeys that came across the property one afternoon. Breakfast is a treat. I'll return when I get a chance.

Have stayed at the Inn 3 times over the past 12 months. I'm not sure what the other user was concerned with.

Shirlene (the owner) is very gracious, it is a B&B so once you are checked in you are pretty much on your own until Pies are served (3 pm... heavenly!) and/or breakfast the next morning. We see very little of staff but haven't had any issues at all.

The views are spectacular and you are literally next to the Nature Conserv. and amazing hiking trails for most any hiking level. For birders there are something like 150+ species there and 15 or so just hummingbirds species.

Definately worth the money ($150 a room or so... more I think for the fully furnished apartment) and you can't beat the location.

First off, Ramsey Canyon itself is spectacular, and a world apart from the rest of southern AZ. The leafy trees, the bubbling creek, deer, turkeys, owls, humming birds galore....what a beautiful place to visit. As far as the Ramsey Canyon Inn itself, we loved the charm of the stone living room with a big fireplace, terra cotta tile and exposed beam ceiling. The rooms were super cute with their antiques and humming bird themes. The feel of the inn is relaxed, warm and welcoming. They make you feel right at home. The beds are comfortable, and the linens fantastic. Ok, let me get to the best part....the food! When you check in you are greeted with three or four different homemade pies. On my trip we had lemon meringue, blueberry, and my personal new favorite; Peach Custard. That was the best pie I have ever had. And the breakfasts were fantastic. Shirlene is a fabulous cook! All in all, a wonderful stay.
