Came here for an overnight stay. Checked out the pool, which as a plus had zero entry, but didn't even have the lights turned on, was very cold, and had no towels anywhere in the pool area (very unwelcoming). On top of it the hot top was closed for rennovations with caution tape strung around it.
The room was mediocre to poor, beds poorly made, no laundry bags (and the front desk didn't have any either upon request), and everything in need of updating (frayed towels and stains on the walls).
The lobby had a strange smell that was very off-putting.
Overall, as one member of our group said, it was probably a great hotel in its day.

Kids and I wanted to have a hotel night in our hometown mainly for swimming. Got here, first thing went down to the pool. It looked awful, and the hot tub wasn't working and neither was the waterfall spray play area. The kids got in, and it was freezing. They got out and there were no towels anywhere. Went to the front desk to ask if the heat could be turned up and she said no because they were remodeling. Would've been nice to know beforehand. I told them I wanted a full refund and we left. Will not return here, and I do not recommend.

Before, during, and after my check in at this hotel, the front desk clerk (whom I later found out was the manager/owner of this awful hotel) was on a personal phone call the entire time; to the point where she actually gestured to me to "hold on" while she takes this personal call rather than take care of the customer. who really does that?! On top of this, when I booked the room online, I requested a NON SMOKING & NON PET ROOM due to ALLERGIES. Instead, she had me in a smoking & pet room!!!. After I expressed I need a different room, she placed me in the very last/furthest room of the hotel knowing damn well there were other rooms she could of given me. I truly think she did that to be spiteful because there was no way this disgusting establishment was fully booked. I even asked if I could do a late check out. She informed me that there would be a $15 fee. Umm, no thanks. I thought because she was on her personal phone call, she could of waived that ridiculous fee but she did not. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS POOR QUALITY HOTEL TO ANYONE-EVEN IF IT'S JUST A ONE NIGHT STAY!!! Never again will I stay at this hotel!

Good motel at a great price. Clean comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Internet was free in room but very slow and continued to drop. Tried to stream a movie but there was no way because of the speed and unreliability. Great Old Chicago pizza place in same parking lot.

Love this place, clean rooms pleasant staff. Just wish they would get the hot tub fixed. Been like 2 years since it's run properly.

Damn! Wish I'd read the reviews before booking and staying here. Dated looking hotel. Pool was COLD. Hot tub was under construction. Room was noisy with mini-fridge and AC rattling and buzzing all night. WiFi was so slow as to be useless. The only redeeming amenity was the included breakfast. Definitely NOT up to Ramada standards.

It’s a shame that google won’t allow a zero star rating. Disgusting, smelly, sub-par hotel. The employees were depressed, as well they should be working in such a decrepit establishment. The only good solution is to tear the place down to the studs and rebuild it, or simply take a wrecking ball to the place. The overall lighting of the hotel was circa 1950, sconce lights that barely light the rooms and hallways adding to the overall depressing and unclean atmosphere of the hotel. The rooms smelled terrible and haven’t seen the house keeping service in years. The carpets are peeling back, there is dust, dirt, and HAIR everywhere. The pool and hot tub are “under construction”. Do your self a favor and DO NOT STAY HERE.

Really only giving this a 1 star because I can’t give it zero. Reserved a hot tub suite, and it was a total waste of money. The mirrors above the tub were smudged and clearly weren’t cleaned since the last use, the hot tub had hairs and dirt all over the bottom. The sheets were stained, the bed needed to be replaced years ago. It WREAKS of mold. Staff is less than pleasant, to put it nicely. Could not possibly be more disgusted. Supposed to be here another 2 nights but we will be switching hotels tomorrow. Unless the world has come to an end and this is the only place with a mattress, go elsewhere.

Reasonable rooms at a very good price. Nothing to complain about, given the price. It was clean and had everything you need, including a good continental breakfast. Not over the top fancy, though; don't expect a luxury experience or anything.

We had selected Ramada Bettendorf to stay at since we had stayed there previously. We have a son who's excited to use the pool therefore we had reserved this hotel specifically for that. When we arrived, I had to call the hotel from my cell phone after waiting in line and no one being available at the front desk at 9 p.m. the lady at the front desk let us know that we could swim until 10 a.m. but the pool was about to close for the evening and would reopen in the morning however we would have to call to find out what time it would open. Upon calling in the morning we are told that the pool area is under construction and has been for quite some time. The breakfast was a joke and we will not return to this hotel.

Outdated, poor and rude service from the front desk, the pool was dirty and half of the features either did not work or were closed off and the rooms were only supplied with two towels when four people were saying in the room and our request for more was never answered. Plus the breakfast was stale and bland, there are many other places to stay and this is not one I would recommend to my worst enemy.

Everyone who worked at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. We stayed Friday through Sunday. Friday night was horrible. There was a party in the next room and they were playing music till 4:30 in the morning. We had to call and walk down to the front desk 5 times!! There were WAY to many people in their room than there should have been. It would have been nice if someone walked down to their room instead of just calling. I had my 2 year old daughter with me and if she would have woken up I would have been the one at their door. It would not have ended well.

It was a nice stay. It is near a lot of businesses so I would say it is in a great location. The staff was friendly but if I had one suggestion would be that it would be great if there was a shuttle between the airport and the hotel.

Its disappointing to see these reviews here. I must say that its been a few years since I visited, but on many stops to this area I always enjoyed staying at this hotel. The restaurant next door is awesome and the rooms were so comfortable. After seeing these reviews I'm cautious about going back?

The Ramada Inn is a nice hotel if you're wanting something cheap and basic. The rooms are clean, their WiFi is reliable, and the service is great. The hot tub has been out of order for a great number of months and staff so not know when it will be fixed. In some parts of the hotel there's a musty smell, but none of the rooms smell like that. The breakfast is your basic continental breakfast. The location is great since a good number of places deliver there, and there's an Old Chicago right next door. And a gas station right across the street. The highway is close as well if you want to go into town. All in all, I'll definitely visit here again if I'm in town.

Horrible hotel. Room was dirty. Room smelled like alcohol and pee. WiFi not available in over half of the hotel. Garbage behind dresser and night stand. Bed smelled like dirty bodies. Told my kids to not walk on floor without shoes on as my shoes stuck to floor when we walked in room. Hotel was supposedly full so we could not move to another room and they would not refund our money so we were stuck. Bring your own sheet/blanket. I wish I would have. Gross!@

    Would give them a zero.

    1. Hot tub had a one inch layer of mold covering it and was broken
    2. Maintenance never actually cleaned the room. Spilled something on the sheets and they weren't changed for two days.
    3. Our family has stayed here multiple times and been loyal customers. Our flight was cancelled and we called at 6 am the morning of to cancel the 2 hotel rooms we had booked. They were able to rebook the rooms for that night so they never lost any money. Refused to refund is for both rooms even though they were able to rebook them and we are loyal customers. Clearly the customers DO NOT come first. As a person who has worked in the service industry for 7 years my mind is blown at how rude and inconsiderate the manager was about our situation. This business is all about money not about customer satisfaction.

You will be very disappointed if you stay here.
